Really bad experience, and borderline dishonest. Started by placing an order on the website, and praying the cost for the metal parts. Later I get an email saying that for a delivery in the UK they need to re-adjust (increase) the price. On the website I ordered, the address from the business is UK based, but there are after all based in Estonia. I ask how much for the adjustment if it's just VAT + shipping, and offer 2 more addresses in Europe as alternatives for shipping. No answer and I simply get my order cancelled. They sent me a full refund but this is borderline unprofessional and deceiving

I came across Fractory a few months ago and placed a small order for some folded and powder-coated sheet aluminium. Everything was delivered on time, well packaged and to a high standard of finish. I have subsequently used them on several occasions for low volume sheet metal components and they have always delivered a high quality product on time and at competitive rates. I am particularly impressed with their website, which allows you to upload CAD and get an immediate price. This makes Fractory easy to use and exceptionally user friendly. On the odd occasion when I have spoken to my account manager, I have always had excellent responses from him. I intend to use Fractory increasingly often over the next few months.

I tried to order some brackets on this site using an Autocad file I had used previously, but queried my order when odd dimensions were returned upon uploading the file. The customer service representative was no help at all, fobbing me off with irrelevant web pages. He did not seem to have the first clue about opening and checking the content of Autocad files and simply ignored my pleas to confirm that my order would be correctly processed. A really disappointing experience that I would not have expected from a site with so much positive feedback.

Wish this service was around 10 years ago, this opens up the world of laser cutting possibilities on a hobbyist's budget. Great to get an instant quote on the website from uploading a STEP file. Ordered 20 off identical laser cut flat profiles, price was very reasonable. Would like to see shorter delivery times, but parts came 2 days earlier than estimated date and are exactly as expected so can't complain. Can't comment on customer service, as the whole thing was done via my laptop with no human interaction whatsoever! So thanks to the Fractory team for making it so straightforward - will be back again for sure and will recommend to friends and colleagues!
