DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY they did not deliver flowers, blamed Royal Mail and refused to give a refund. Performed a chargeback to get our money back. *If this happens to you, you can ask your bank for a chargeback.* any bank should agree to it as what this company doing is against consumer rights. You are entitled to a full refund if goods are not delivered on the specified day. A replacement is not acceptable when the goods are for a special occasion which has since passed. The customer services representative was not interested in hearing this, they can only spew out scripted responses. Don’t even bother trying to order from here.
After reading all the reviews, I wish I have done so before ordering. Ordered some tulips, not only that I have received less than what was selected, but the colour is wrong also. After reading all the reviews, I am disappointed, I have not even attempted to chase them up as it seems they are a small business that can’t afford to repair their mistakes.
Very misleading or ridiculously over-priced (has to be one or the other). Ordered a Spring Bouquet - Oranges, Reds & Yellows at a value of £40. Came on time but looked like £5 garage bouquet, tiny heads, too much filler foliage and flowers that are there don’t look healthy at all. Avoid at all costs.
We ordered the blue hydrangeas and two weeks in the still look lovely. Very reliable and trustworthy plant provider.
Ordered flowers. Free delivery as a thank you. Charged for delivery, reason Royal Mail. This is a disgusting thing to do.
Do NOT buy from this company. I ordered 10 peonies which arrived in awful condition and were pretty much dead on arrival. Only one opened. For £65 I expect a lot more, as did the recipient. When I asked for a refund which they are **legally bound** under the UK Consumer Act of 2015, it was refused and they said it was "at their discretion". I rejected their offer of a credit or replacement flowers - the occasion had passed and in hindsight, having read of their awful performance, why on earth would I want to deal with them any further? I only wish I could post the pictures. If you truly detest someone, and want a terrible experience then this is the company for you. I will be taking this up with the Consumer Protection authorities and with my credit card company. These charlatans will not be allowed to get away with this.
this company is a SCAM!!!!!! they sent me pink roses instead of peonies and they sent a very scanty arrangement and are refusing to give me my money back. do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs. £41 down the drain.
Very poor quality of flowers and very rude customer service. BEWARE they tie you into 6 deliveries with their subscription if you use a code and then want to charge you £10 to get out of the subscription! I ordered the £20 bouquet and it arrived in full bloom not buds. The two gerbera were dead within two days, the tulips were lilting within 2 days and the rest looked sad in the vase. Not the quality of other subscription florists.
I have ordered a largish batch of tulip bulbs (£674.24) in the second half of October for a designated date of delivery for which I paid an additional small charge. The date passed without hearing from them. After multiple e-mails and unanswered phone calls I finally managed to catch the so-called managing director James Hunt on the phone. Sounded like one of the cowboy builders/scammers that you see on TV in these hidden camera programmes. Turned out that he did not have the bulbs in stock! When I asked for an immediate refund, he refused saying that it is difficult! I have never experienced anything like this in almost 30 years of online shopping. He did send me some bulbs that looked like they were bought at Homebase from the discount bin. Still owes me £522.24 three months later! Does not respond to e-mails.
SHOCKING RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE. REFUSE TO GIVE REFUND WHEN I HAD MADE A GENUINE MISTAKE DUE TO POOR EYE SIGHT AND ORDERED TULIPS WHICH ARE NOW ON BACK-ORDER AND WONT BE AVAILABLE AGAIN FOR A YEAR. THEY ARE HOLDING MORE THAN £400 OF MY MONEY. I DIDNT WANT TO GET INTO ANY CONFRONTATION SO I APOLOGISED FOR MY MISTAKE, TOOK RESPONSIBILITY AND ASKE NICELY IF THEY COULD PLEASE REFUND ME, OPPOSED TO SIT ON MY MONEY FOR 8 MONTHS UNTIL TULIPS AVAILABLE AGAIN. THERE RESPONSE WAS JUST TO IGNORE ME. VERY UNKIND AND UPSETTING AND NOW THAT I READ THEIR REVIEWS I SEE THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THEY HAVE DONE THIS. I'll give a 5 star even though my request was not fully met. I was scared at first because reading Facebook reviews, I read a lot of complaints. Seller responses fairly but not fully hands on. But I got the information I needed from asking. So it's okay. Order was 15 stems of Peonies and I received actual Peonies even if it was out of season. So a huge thanks to the seller! I ordered and availed the Same Day Delivery Friday 22nd of Nov. But Same day Delivery was not met. Seller explained clearly that they have stock but might not be enough so they might get it from their main store and it would be a next day delivery if it happens. And it really was a next day delivery instead. Only thing that got me stressed was from Royal Mail's slow updates since it was being delivered on Saturday and I'm anxious about my order as it might get wilted. But Order arrived on a buzzer beater and came around past 7pm. In regards with the flower, Peonies looked in a good condition. Flower was in a bouquet and was delivered in a box so it was secured. Flowers were also delivered with water in its stem so it didn't get wilted. Thanks FBF for the Peonies!
Yet again another very fast order of Red Nymph Amaryllis With super sized standard bulbs giving three to four stems per bulb The Amaryllis Bulbs are totally as fresh as possabley can be with the very usual very friendly helpfull perfect service provided by Flourish Staff Team
I ordered white Amaryllis bulbs for a display I’m putting together for Christmas. I ordered them out of season so I knew I’d have to wait for them. I got my order today, big healthy outsize bulbs securely packaged.Im very satisfied.
I bought a bouquet of blue hydrangeas. I ordered them a few weeks in advance as I knew that I will need them. I have read many, many bad reviews about this company, so I was really worried. I decided to share my good experience with them. I received the flowers on time - they were sent a day before over royal mail using tracked 24 service (might help that I live in a city). The flower bouquet looks very beautiful and was well packed in a huge cardboard box. There were also tips included on how to take care of it. I understand that it may not survive for a very long time as it was in transit, but I believe the owners sent a beautiful and good bouquet. I will definitely use the compnay in the future.
Had been let down by usual supplier, I needed a large bunch of daffodils for an Easter display and found flowers by flourish online. I was very pleased with the price and quality of the flowers I ordered, they were just as shown in the photograph. I will order from this company again and highly recommend them for quality of flowers and customer service. Thank you
Flowers were great and lasted a long time. The only issue is that the Royal Mail delivery is a let down. Shame as I have experienced great customer service from Flower by Flourish and would continue to order flowers from them, however RM delivery is rubbish compared to any other flower service I have used.
Living in england and not able to visit my mother on mothers day i sent flowers from your company she was most delighted with the flowers and vase she rated them better than the normal interflora that i normally send. Thank you
I had to contact Flourish by email and they were super quick to respond, put my mind at ease straight away, I was really impressed. Flowers sent to my Mum were absolutely beautiful but slightly different to what I had ordered (eg there were no lilies in the arrangement at all - it could very well be for a good reason eg that it’s the wrong season etc in all fairness, but nothing was mentioned to me about it.) It didn’t matter as arrangement looked stunning and obviously my Mum didn’t know any different so that’s why I’ve still put 5*. Thank you very much for the beautiful flowers anyway!
The Orchid was superb! Great colours. Well nourished. And super eco and beautiful packaging. I was going to go with Waitrose for this Mother’s Day gift and then I thought I’ll just do a quick Google, just to see. And up they popped Flowers By Flourish. They were cheaper, website was easy to use aaand, when they didn’t have the flower I had ordered in stock, they text messaged me pictures of alternatives that were even better than the original!
I bought a 3-month subscription. Flowers were lovely, no complaints on that front, but at the end of my 3 months, the subscription rolled forward automatically so I ended up paying for an extra month I didn't want. I had specifically bought a three-month subscription and not an ongoing one, but the company would not refund me the additional month. This appears to be buried somewhere in the ts&cs and was definitely not made clear at any point in the sign-up process. Sadly will not be buying from them again.
