reliable with good customer service team. had 10+ skips/ grabbers from them over last year or so on big rennovation. always deliver when agreed. even wagon drivers arent too grumpy!!
Very quick delivery organised even though it was for holiday weekend. Skip put in best place on awkward sloped driveway. Not rushed for collection which was really helpful as needed to work in with builder and gardener and was able to use for several gardening jobs.

As far as hiring a skip goes, everything went pretty well! Just a few little niggles along the way brought the experience down somewhat, mostly to do with communication from their side. We ordered the skip online through the website, which is a super quick and simple process but didn't get a confirmation email once the payment had gone through. Not to worry, phoned them up a few days later just to confirm everything was okay with the order and the lovely woman who answered confirmed everything and apologised for the lack of email. The skip arrived on the correct date as per the order, but we did get a bit antsy as it came later in the day and tried to get intouch around noon to see where the skip was (builders had already started filling our hallway up with debris at this point and really wanted it out of the house and away from the kids). I'll admit here that I was phoning the wrong number! I used the number on Google and although it does take you through to Fletchers switchboard, it cuts you off once you've chosen an option. Very confusing. I also send a Facebook message, a message through the chat function and sent a message using the enquiries form on the website- never heard anything back from any of these. Luckily the skip arrived a few hours later so I stopped fussing. The next day another skip arrived! Bit more confusion but it turns out someone had obviously got my message and rather than call me to check the status, or check within their own company, they simply sent another skip out! It was no inconvenience to me and made for a bit of amusement between everyone involved but surely just a quick phonecall would've been easier? Got to the end of the week and decided to request another week as we're still plodding through DIY projects at home and of course I'm still ringing the wrong number and not understanding why I can't get through to anyone. Sent a message through the website again explaining what I wanted and requesting a callback because I had a question about the skip etiquette in regards to the fill line (builders had done a terrible job loading the skip). Again, no reply or phonecall. The next day I realised the number on the website is different to the one on Google (Huzzah!) so finally managed to get through. Again, lovely helpful chap on the other side of the phone, told me the extra week was already on the account and gave me some advice about the fill line. Decided Monday to keep it for yet another week, got through to possibly the same chap? Absolutely no problem, paid for my extra time and he said pickup was arranged for the following Tuesday. Brill! By the next day we had mostly used up all the room the skip had to offer, so decided we should ask them to pick up a little sooner so we could reclaim our driveway. Filled in the collection form on the website that says something along the lines of "fill this in and we'll get in touch to arrange collection". The skip was picked up Thursday morning (today) with no warning. Now I'm not mad, but a quick phonecall, email or text even an hour ahead of time would've meant that I don't still have some bits of scrap metal, a mirror and some purposely flattened cardboard still lying around in my hallway. I understand how it probably works when you send off the form, but if you say that you'll be in touch then my expectation is that you'll be in touch! So although the skip hire went successfully and the customer service staff were fantastic, i knocked off one star due to the lack of communication coming from Fletchers, and another star because I'm not sure I could recommend them to someone else wanting to hire a skip based on this experience, and I think that's quite important when reviewing.

Was good service, i was told to give them a ring a few days before i was ready for it to be collected, but came into work and it was gone a week later and i still had waste i neeeded to put into it
Good service helpful driver
Service was fine for order and delivery. Collection was a nightmare. Asked for skip to be collected after 2 weeks (which was the default timing) and nothing happened. Rang up a few times after that and asked for callbacks to avoid waiting on the line. After a week of no callbacks i sat on the line and spoke to somebody who confirmed that I was scheduled for collection the following week. About 2 weeks later i received a callback to confirm my collection had taken place. About week later i received another call to say that they would be out the following day. A week after that a driver arrived at a random time with no warning and rang me twice during a work meeting to ask for directions as we are on a new build estate ( they were at a different estate, understandable as there are a few nearby but none of the other delivery drivers we have had have been taken there from our postcode.) The driver also had my name wrong attached to my address. Everyone was polite enough throughout but can't recommend a service that is this disorganized. Online descriptions where great to help us decide on the size we required. Delivered on the day requested and placed exactly where we asked. Very pleasant delivery driver and office staff. Excellent customer service, we will definitely be using again.
