I have had a fantastic experience with this company. The surveyor was friendly and knew his job inside out. The fitters spent over nine hours in my home to complete the job in the day. They were very efficient and skilled at their job. They used dust sheets, hoovered and cleaned the windows. My new front door is absolutely perfect. I am so happy I chose Fitter Windows I can't thank them enough. My Son and neighbours also like the products I had fitted.

Had a salesperson come round on said date to estimate of cost of new windows small UPVC x 3. I gave a deposit £1000+ but after speaking with family was convinced to cancel order, did so by email and attempted phone call ...no response to either and no teturn of my deposit. Would never advice to use this company

I had an extremely unpleasant experience with Fitter Windows . Unfortunately, the windows I purchased are of poor quality, and their promises turned out to be nothing but deceit. After installation, I noticed serious issues with condensation, and the windows were not installed properly. When it comes to sound insulation and energy efficiency, it’s not even worth discussing, as it’s all just false advertising. It’s frustrating to see that no one checks whether the windows are installed correctly. They use insufficient and low-quality insulation foam, resulting in air gaps after installation. I want to share this experience with others so that they are aware of the real problems they may encounter. I strongly recommend looking for other options before choosing this company for your windows. By the way, they convinced me to buy triple-glassed windows,the most expensive , but these windows are worse quality than the old ones I had! Update I initially wrote a negative review regarding the issues I faced with the windows, but I would like to update my feedback. While my initial experience was disappointing, I appreciate their efforts to make things right. They replaced some of the windows and properly insulated them with sufficient insulation foam. I finally found some nice people in this company who genuinely tried to resolve the problems. They were very kind and attentive, making sure everything was fixed to my satisfaction. I truly appreciate their efforts and dedication to customer service. Thank you for turning my experience around!

Asked the company to come and fix a couple of my windows that were stuck and would not close or open properly. John arrived with a smile and sorted the windows , new hinges and realignment. Kept me informed throughout and left the areas clean and tidy. Big thumbs up from me.

I was pleasantly surprised with the work done. Until now, all other work undertaken at this property by so called professional traders has either been badly done or overpriced. This is why I undertake most of the building/diy work myself if possible. Your fitters were pleasant and nothing was too much trouble for them. They carried on working through rain, snow and an outside temp of 2 degrees C. I did however have trouble understanding what they were saying but we managed to overcome this problem. We will see how the windows perform during the winter and if succesful will recommend your company.

Bad customer service, and time wasting experience

From the moment the two men arrived until they left over 10 hrs later they were polite , considerate and hard working . There was a slight problem when the wrong beading had been delivered but new beading of the correct size was sent out . The whole procedure wasn’t as bad as I expected as the workmen tidied up after themselves and so far I am delighted with the results . Hoping there will be no problems with the bad weather approaching .

We found Fitter Windows through the 'Help to buy windows' scheme. The sales guy who visited us was condescending and every question was met with a sarcastic/arrogant response. We ended up signing the contract but ended up cancelling as we couldn't fathom going with this company only on account of the sales guy. We ended up going with a company with a higher quote in the end as a matter of principle.

Fitter Windows gave excellant service from beginning to end . Kevin,s help in choosing what we wanted was invalueable . Jeromy then visited to measure up and again gave excellant advise and we changed a couple of choices of style and have to say he was spot on . Both fitters Gerald & Max were a pleasure to have in our home and are excellant fitters and we were amazed that they fitted our new windows quickly & cleanly with very little damage to our decorating . They are clearly both experienced and exceptionally good at what they do .The windows themselves are very good quality and have made such a differance to our home already even though it is,nt quite finished as yet . I must also mention that as our front doorway is very narrow , I was disapointed not to be able to have my original choice of front door and chose what I could from ones that I was,nt keen on but now the door is fitted I really like it . First class service and good fitters

From the beginning I was impressed with the organisation and quickness with which my order was carried out. The installation was excellent and my neighbour asked me to recommend a company so I told him how happy we were with you - he then had his windows changed by your company - I spoke to him yesterday and he thanked me for my recommendation. He is very happy with the change the windows have made to his flat - which is now light and airy 10/05/2024

I found Fitter Windows on a government scheme for my dad as he needed all new windows for the house The guy that came round that did the quote was fantastic and so helpful and put our minds at rest The windows were all put and the a new composite security front door and it all looks amazing Jamie. Was given worse case by the surveyor that came round about work that needed to be completed before new windows (and this is written on the notes given to me), only to have it back tracked by the office/surveyor. My builder was accused by a member of staff of trying to rip me off, but the builder had given me a quote based on what the surveyor told the builder (was handily at the property at the same time). Whilst trying to tell said member of staff on the phone that what the surveyor had said to me and what was written on the office notes where two different things, I was constantly over spoken, not listened too. I was treated and spoken to appalling by said member of staff.

From my very first call where I spoke to a lovely lady named Daisey to discuss my needsto the fitting of my new windows I received a very professional service. Any questions or queries I had were dealt promptly without any hassle. Extremely satisfied with my purchase and the process. Would highly recommend.

From the beginning of the experience of dealing with fitter windows to the end we got total professionalism from the first call of our enquiry to the installation. My only complaint for this excellent service is they had too many samples to choose from. Truly a breath of fresh air and made what I thought was going to be a nightmare easy. I was worried about the finance aspect but they also took care of all of that and I’m on an affordable repayment plan. Highly recommend.

I needed my front door changed back in November 2023. Not only did most companies state it would be impossible before Christmas but the prices were also so much more then I expected. Then a neighbour suggested this company, I’m so glad she did! Not only did I save almost £500 but also had a beautiful new door fitted in time for hosting Christmas. Thank you so much.

To say I got a completely different service than expected was an understatement. Sadly I’ve not had the best experience with double glazing companies in the past (I used one of the most well known previously). I was so disappointed with my previous chosen company I did not let them complete the job! A friend recommended Fitter Windows, I’m so happy with their service. Not only was I advise in a way that saved me money but their aftercare goes above and beyond any I’ve had before. If you want a stress free experience this is the place to call.
