it was the eating of the product that would actually make me order again for my next big bbq. It was truly, wonderfully delicious. The deals are a bit complicated though. 2for1 does not exactly mean that, which was confusing. It means you get the cheapest product free - I think. I had to place my order on the phone rather than on line to understand the offers and I am not sure I do even now. Having said that, I will indeed look forward to ordering again.

Always excellent quality and managed to get a delivery next day when i ordered early am.

We started using Farmison in 2022, and every single item (chicken, rib-eye, lamb chops, sausages, pork fillet and chops etc.) has been outstanding. Cannot go back to supermarket meat after tasting Farmison. We were saddened when they went into administration in early 2023, and tried a few other quality meat delivery companies but nothing compared to Farmison, so we were really happy to see them back in business. Their chicken is particularly delicious, cannot be beaten. Yes, prices are more expensive than the supermarket, but I would rather eat less meat and have better quality.

Genuinely sad to see that Farmison went into administration. Sadly, a case of poor management and greed. I was a loyal customer right back at the beginning in 2011 when the meat was fantastic, the small customer service team knew me by name and Farmison was supplying local Yorkshire meat from small farms. Unfortunately, they got greedy and decided to enter the ready meal market, especially noticeable in lockdown. Prices went through the roof, meat quality went down and all the marketing was about pre-prepared meals not locally sourced, rare breed meat from small farms that Farmison supported. I stopped being a customer when their strategy changed. They lost their core market would be my guess. Then private equity, then administration. Sad. It was such a lovely business at the beginning and for several years. I can only imagine the owners took poor advice on growth strategy and lost sight of why they started the company. Swaledale has taken their place now. I truly hope they don’t make the same mistakes. Farmison is a case study in what happens when you forget why customers loved you in the first place.

Can’t recommend this company highly enough, they’re fabulous! If you care about the quality of the meat you eat, where that meat comes from and how it gets from field to plate then look no further. Their service is second to none, a minor error was made on my order, I reported it to them and it was resolved straight away and items were dispatched straight out. Meat always arrives chilled and fresh and tastes amazing!! Placing another order now.

Ordered some meat for a special occasion, delivery 24-48 hours. Still waiting almost 72 hours later. Told them no longer needed as had to go buy elsewhere as it will now arrive after my party, but they are not bothered. It’s tough basically. Do not bother with them if you want your produce to arrive in good time.
