As always, my order from Farmesons arrived promptly, well-packaged, and fresh. The quality of the meat was at its usual high standard, and of top quality. The added bonus of recipes is also useful. I will confidently remain a regular customer of Farmesons.

My meat has been perfect and delicious everytine, I’m housebound and can’t stand for very long so I’ve been using my pressure cooker to cook the meat in and it comes out perfect each time, I know the prices are a bit higher that you’d pay in the supermarket but you have to remember how much work the farmer puts in to rear the animals and packaging and delivery costs etc, but you know it’s fresher and straight from the field to your table.

Wow - our honour guard of lamb looked spectacular as it came out the carefully packaged ice in the box. A short time in the pan on the stove to render fat with 35 minutes in the oven coming out a gorgeous deep brown. The flavour our guests all commented on was out of this world - or more accurately a time warp to the 1960s when food tasted like food in England. Nothing left over... says it all!

Food never got here / Shocking response all around from Farmison

I’ve had a really frustrating experience with this team. I got the tomahawk and a tbone and was very disappointed with the quality of the meat (it’s state was a far cry from what is shown in the website). What was additionally frustrating was the false advertising on the resting board. The dimensions were significantly smaller than what was advertised. The team responded to my concern stating there were “size variances” in the boards delivered which is very hard to believe given the metal grid fits perfectly. Very disappointed with how dishonest this team has been. Steer clear.

I order meat for Easter holiday the parcel was left outside by DpD and was stolen and left me with no meat for the holiday for me and my kids, when I email the company of they say sorry and the issues and damages was done I ask if they could give some meat as compensation as they are a meat provider and reseller and as customer any other company will have say ok due to your experience we will give something! They say they will not give me anything! Shocking customer service I will not recommend to buy anything from I switch to a different meat provide also organic and with a great customer service that care for they client and want to keep them, I buy a lot of meat their lost no mine.

I have been using Farmison for many years now and have always been very happy with the quality of meat. Just had the beef Wellington for two. The cooking instructions were perfect. I was distrustful, but went ahead anyway and the meat was perfectly cooked at medium rare. My one issue was the tarragon. It’s quite a robust herb and I realise that everyone’s palate is different, but i felt it was rather overpowering and was the dominant taste.

What’s happened to Farmison? Quality seems off, just opened a pack of steak strips to cook a stir fry and faced with tiny strands of meat not really suitable for a stir fry.

I had ordered a shoulder of mutton for the Easter weekend, this had been ordered well in advance to ensure I got it. Very late afternoon the day before delivery was due I received an email saying that due to a stocking issue they couldn’t deliver the mutton. What a dreadful way to treat a customer, no thought of phoning to see if they could supply an alternative- just sorry your meat won’t be coming and we will credit your account against a future order. What is the point in ordering to ensure I had the required joint for Easter dinner when you get let down and have to go elsewhere. When I emailed asking why they were suddenly out of stock and hadn’t they ‘reserved’ my meat when ordered I just got another bland email saying they were working to improve their stock system, sorry. Having been badly let down at short notice I had to find an alternative source of meat for this important Easter meal. I’m glad to say we found the alternative delicious so guess who may get my business in future? Sorry Farmison while your meat scores 10/10 your customer service is 0/10 and I can’t recommend an unreliable source who doesn’t even consider telling their customer in a timely way that they messed up and let the customer down. I demanded my money was refunded as I don’t like their attitude when they are at fault and would have to seriously consider whether I trust them in future.

I've been using Farmison for 4 years now due to the fact I don't have access to a good local butcher. Their range and quality has always been fantastic and although it's a little on the pricy side, I feel it should be for the quality of the product. I started shopping her to get the best quality of what I could afford so that I would eat less meat and that has worked. I don't buy meat from the supermarket

The quality of meat was excellent, as usual, I chose Mutton this time and made a traditional Hot Pot, it was wonderful. The meat arrived very well packed, and on the date I chose, I love this company.

Price doesn't always mean quality and Farmison is evidence of this. The only thing I liked are their ribeyes and lamb gigot. Everything else, particularly the ready-made/marinated items like Gratin Dauphinois, "Luxury" Chestnut & Apricot Pigs In Blankets, Buffalo Wings, Burnt Ends, etc. were poor quality and bland.

Such good quality meat, we don’t eat meat every week so when we do we really enjoy it. It helps that you have clear cooking instructions to give it the best chance of tasting the quality. (I have never been instructed to pour boiling water over the fat of a pork joint, the crackling was beautiful, crispy and light) There are recipes too which i like to be inspired by. Delivery was very smooth and packed well when it arrived on the chosen day allocated. A great experience which I also had at Christmas.

After my first order from Farmison & Co was such a success I will be returning to order from them again. My items arrived very quickly, in excellent condition and were of splendid quality. Harking back to the days of unadulterated fresh products when quality was the mainstay of the day.
