Hello on the 20/5/21 I was Scammed by David Smith I received a Text from my friend who I have known since High School? He TEXTED Mike did you get the UN GRANT? I believe He got the same message from me? Some one must have known were were friends and Played us against each other? I was supposed to contact David Smith and ask the Question "Am I eligible for the UN GRANT? Dave checked and yes I qualified for this Grant The only reason I did this because my friend told me that he invested $2000.00 into David's and in 24 hours he got a Cheque for $90,000.00 brought to his House? I said to Dave "I am a Pensioner and I do not have $2000.00 He said how much can you spare I said maybe $1000.00 He said if I put $1000.00 in this Bank Account he Provided in 24 hours I would get 50,000.00 sent to my Place y friend told me that he was give the $90,000.00 Cheque and the best part he did not have to pay it back? I texted Dave and asked him how can he give money away like that? If everybody did that there would be no money left? David assured me the this was a United Nations Grant and that he has helped many people and advises them to use the money wisely? so I said :Dave, I have been Scammed too many times Please tell me truthfully that this is not a Scam? He said this is no Scam and this decision would be the best decision I have made in my Life? He sent me a Bank Account Number and details with BSB number and Name? I etered $1000.00 into his account and he texted and said he would keep me informed because in 24 hours I would get the Cheque and he said he would bring it Personally because he wanted to meet me? The next morning he texted me saying something went wrong? I said What is wrong"? David said a TAX must be paid in order to get this money? I said you did not mentio that to me yesterday? He said I must pay another $4500.00 in orderto get this money? I told him to Please return my $1000.00 and I gave him my Second Account no: that had $00.00 in it? I googled and got people who deal with Scammers like yourselves? You told me that you catch Scammers and I would get my Money Back and it's a Free Service?

I came across Ellis and Burlington after my close friend lost money to an online forex scam. After being a victim of fraud my friend was hesitant to start working with an abroad firm as she lives in Australia. I saw a chance to help my friend in need and offered to perform the due diligence for her. The firm is located in Israel and I have been living here for quite some time. At first I contacted them by telephone to ask a few questions, the representative was polite and answered all my questions professionally. I then asked if I can come to their offices and meet them personally. Not only was I welcomed to do so, the representative was also enthusiastic and encouraged me to come and meet them in their offices. I arrived at the offices of Ellis and Burlington on April 5th around 12:30 the meeting was scheduled ahead and with accordance to the Covid-19 restrictions. I was welcomed by the secretary and waited around 2 minutes with a glass of water. The manager Joshua met me, he was professional and explained how Ellis and Burlington work. Though this was the same information I received over the phone I felt the same confidence and understood that their team is extremely hard working, professional and genuine. The offices are big and well designed and they sustain a massive staff from different departments all working on the same goal. To be honest I did not expect to be impressed but my visit at Ellis and Burlgnton's offices stunned me. The staff welcomed me politely and were happy to see me. After my meeting I immediately contacted my friend and shared my experience with her. She then decided to take Ellis and Burlington's services and started the process of recovering her funds. A few days ago my friend received AUD 26,970 and she couldn't be more happy. I want to thank Ellis and Burlington not only for helping my friend and recovering her funds but for the warm and welcoming hospitality. They are truly a team of angels fighting for the unfortunate victims of fraud. God bless you all!!!
This company seem to talk the talk, but not walk the walk. They advertise to recover scammed crypto currency, yet do not have the relevant infrastructure or expertise in place to be able to do it. If you are looking to do this, then E&B are NOT suitable for you. Do not waste your time or money with them, use a specialist forensic blockchain recovery service instead. E&B are quick to take their fee in advance, but not quick to act on your behalf. Firstly it took them approximately 3 months just to draft an initial letter on my behalf, in an attempt to raise a charge back of the payment made on a bank debit card. I believe E&B should have at least been aware, it is not possible to raise a charge back against a Bitcoin purchase made with a debit card. The contents of their letter bared little if any relevance to the current law here in the UK, being not fit for purpose. Secondly, all communications administered on your behalf are sent using your own personal name & address details. They do not use their name or address in subsequent correspondence produced on your behalf. Therefore this carries insignificant weight of authority. After waiting 5 months with no further progress made, I myself applied to the Financial Ombudsman Service to raise a complaint against the bank. After doing this, I informed Ellis & Burlington of my action, who in turn raised an additional duplicate complaint alongside my existing one, which only confused matters with the FOS!. I am seriously NOT impressed by E&B, all they did was unwittingly obstruct progress prolonging my agony in trying to retrieve stolen funds. My verdict is not to use these people, by simply going direct to the Financial Ombudsman yourself, which is a free service. I would not & cannot recommend Ellis & Burlington, as they proved a waste of both my time & money in this instance. Although I believe they have good intentions, for me the whole process seemed incompetent & grossly inadequate for my given scenario. This occurred with their mismanaged inappropriate correspondence & actions, resulting in my case being consequently prolonged further with no end result achieved. I believe they incorrectly assessed my case, given their limited resources & knowledge applicable to my particular case. Therefore I think E&B should have advised me against them acting on my behalf. My Reply : This is NOT a false review... only a genuine customer experience. In fact I pose the same question back in reply to your positive reviews on here... mostly being generically worded in a similar style... posted usually by a user with just a single review!. I have replied to your request with my email address used in all previous correspondence with yourselves.

After a proces of 10 months Ellis and Burlington is finally telling me what I already knew for months: their approach is without any result and they close my case. It took more than 1 month for E&B to start the proces. During the proces 4 times change of Case Manager (first Ariel, then Isaac, to Emma, to Isaac, to Emma again), asking so many time what the status is, so many times no reply from E&B. To be short: Don’t invest your money in E&B !!! Be aware of all the positive reviews ‘by invitation’, they are probably fake (most reviewers have only 1 review). This review is real. I am real. I was a client of E&B, and yes I am not happy with the service of E&B… The same day I posted my review: Got a call from Joshua Levenstein (Management). Told him my story and how bad his team was opporating. After the call I send him an email with my log-file so he can read all steps of my proces and the poor follow-up of his team... still waiting for a reply, offcourse.

If you were scammed on line, dont contact Ellis & Burlington in Israel for help! They will just help you get rid of another sum of money. If you think you pay for their services in retrieving back lost sums of money scammed from you by another firm, and if you think they will make an effort for you to get your lost money back, think again! They will be interested in your case untill you have paid them their Fee and then you are almost on your own again. Apart from some half felt mails from your agent, you will receive a draft legal letter that you yourself must send to your first scammer. This letter wont scare any one as it is not signed by an attorney which I expected, it is just a letter where you youeself try to threathen the recipient to pay back your money. This letter and some mails cost me 10.000 dkk. Ellis & Burlinton pretended to work with my case for some months, where I had to ask for their attention several times, because I heard absolutely nothing from my agent. After 2 whole weeks with no answers to mails, I finally got the message that my agents workload was too big, and I had been assigned to another agent, who wrote me a couple of mails untill this one also was overworked and I got my Third agent, who just wrote to introduce himself and no more. After this cirkus I complained to Ellis & Burlington of this treatment - I had not received any of my funds and in fact I had done all the work myself - and I asked them to return half of the Fee of 10.000 dkk to me, in order to balance their servicse rendered in accordance with their price, which I even find to be a rich Fee for one draft of a letter that I had to send myself. Ellis & Burlington refuse to pay me back hiding behind their energetic contract informing me that they have worked beyond the promises in the contract and given me more time and effort than I had coming according to our agreement, and they even warn me against giving reviews on line that can be conscrued as lies and blackmail and threaths. But as a matter of fact this is the first example I make of a series of reviews of them in order to warn people against their methods and their fake promises of help to victims already being robbed once before. I in fact got some of my money back but not because of Ellis & Burlington, but because of my own stubborness, I did not let my scammers of the hook untill they made me a deal, and not in the honour of E&B but thanks to my own energy and ability to not give up. So thank you for nothing Ellis & Burlington. I still want you to return my 5000 dkk, so pay up! Make your reputation neat and clean and stop cheating people!
I am a student and I was scammed with 130 Euros. The firm provided me a free tip that solved my issue within minutes. A very simple legal term. Throughout past month I tried a dozen times to reach the so called "seller" to no response. I contacted the "seller" threatening to invoke that legal proceeding suggested by Ellis and Burlington and within minutes I received a reply from the scammers apologising and returning my money. For 1 month I have been sad about the scam. I should have approached Ellis and Burlington earlier! These guys are amazing and the best part is they did not take my case for money. They realised its a simple case and provided me free guidance!
I've been in touch with this company as I was in a trouble with a scam I got involved with. When I have been contact back from them, the problem was solved already as I didn't leave a day in peace the company I ve been scammed from.
