The "polished gold" truss rod cover seems to be simply aluminum dipped in gold paint. Flow marks are plainly visible at the 2 screw holes. Attempts to polish it manually using very fine polishing compound do not succeed, and seem only to leave scratches in whatever that soft yellow stuff is. It's the right shape, but aside from that unattractive and more or less useless. No screws included either. Money wasted.

Great guitar. I'm a proud owner of a D'Angelico Atlantic deluxe and to me it sounds better than a Les Paul. It is easy to reach the higher frets, they don't dig into your ribs, they stay in tune, and they overall design is incredible. The best the best thing about the guitar is I didn't have to sell my organs to get my hands on one.

It's a tee shirt. With a 30% discount it was still $30, $8 of which was for standard ground shipping. It took 6 days for it to get here. For $8 it should've been able to make it in 2. I think $30 is way too much for a tee shirt & I wouldn't have bought it without the discount. Your tee shirts should be around $20 or less when they aren't 30% off & you should try to find a less expensive shipping method. But I love my Premier DC!

Got it as a gift. It feels like a guitar should sound.

Excellent Customer Service as always. I have come to expect nothing else from D'Angelico and would be surprised is it were less than great. Things happen and are often out of our control - that said, it is far more important how they are resolved than if they occur at all. John Kitson

High quality products. Amazing guitars and great merch. Got a discount code with a recent guitar purchase so I decided to purchase a shirt, an extra pickguard and some picks. Went smoothly with no hiccups along the way. Love this company, its brand, its products, its history. Thanks!

Got the package today and it was only 2 days late. Can’t blame you, you did your part. Now I am anxiously waiting for my Premier Bob Weir Bedford to show up in 2 days.

I bought the long stairstep tailpiece for my D'Angelico EXS-1DH to replace the original stairstep that broke at the pivot point due to either a manufacturing defect or too much tension on the oversized strings. The part that attaches to the guitar with 3 screws had only 1 screw line up, so I had to drill 2 holes in the guitar to mount the tailpiece in it's original place. The D"Angelico website does not list a EXS-1DH anymore.
