Had a customer whose tailpiece snapped. Ordered a replacement and it got here crazy fast. Cuatomer was thrilled and so was I. Great job!

Fast response and delivery. The GD hoody is a tad on the thin side - I expected more of a sweatshirt like material, not the T-shirt like material used.

I have been a fan of D’Angelico guitars for quite some time. I have two of their basses in my arsenal and they never cease to turn heads with their sound and appearance. Their quality is impeccable and their detail is amazing. These properties are across the entire line. Whenever anyone asks me to recommend an acoustic guitar, I always steer them toward a D’Angelico. Their prices are amazing with the quality you are getting. Many people buy “beginner” acoustics with the intention of upgrading later. A D’Angelico acoustic is an instrument that a beginner grows with and will always have. I have one as well that is my goto for both writing and recording. The same holds true for the entire line of instruments. I love that you have a full line that includes cost accessible instruments all the way up to custom builds! This is a great model that allows new musicians to be introduced to your instruments at an entry level and grow with the brand. A few years ago, I played the Excel 59 which is a “jazz box” format large hollow body guitar with 2 P90s. When I first played it, I had it plugged into a small Supro amplifier with reverb. I couldn’t put it down. The acoustic response of the guitar combined with the reverb and the punchy detail of the P90s was a sound I never forgot. I did not purchase the guitar at the time, but my brain always went back to that sound. Recently, I contacted the crew at D’Angelico and although they discontinued the model, they told me they still had one in stock! Right away, I ordered it. They asked me how I wanted it set up and off it went! And here it is! This is one of those guitars that I can stare at for hours. The art-deco tuning machines and tailpiece are not only beautiful, but their quality and function are critical to the playability of the guitar. The 3ply binding around the body and neck is a perfect contrast. There is even binding around the f-holes! This guitar is flawless!! It was setup and ready to go out of the box. With a few tweaks of the tuning machines, acoustically it was exactly how I remembered it. The string response is fantastic with just the right amount of recoil and resonance with a very natural warm decay. The guitar feels very solid and possibly heavier than one might expect, but that is the nature of this instrument. When plugged in, the P90s are the perfect compliment to this guitar. The punch and detail make this more than a “jazz box”. The warm round jazz vibe is of course very easy to dial in by rolling back the tone and selecting the neck pickup. With both pickups selected and the tone totally open, I get that P90 punch that I have been craving. With a little reverb and an “just on the verge” tube breakup, this guitar has an amazing speaking voice! Thank you very much to everyone at D’Angelico for reviving a classic brand of instruments and giving it a new life with new innovation that will carry these guitars into the hands of many future generations!

They did great, it's the shipping that was an issue. It took forever, thanks to the shipper. Overall a great experience.

I'm very happy with the quality of both, my d'angelico acoustic guitar and the recent shipment of a case for it. Customer service responded to an inquiry I had submitted early on in the ordering process as well. I have no issues to report and would be a repeat customer.

D'Angelico makes beautiful guitars. The kind you just stare at. The workmanship and quality is way above many competitors. This is my fourth covering jazz, blues and rock. D'Angelico has me covered.

A bit slow and cumbersome, I had both: sent email to ...info ... and used the "Online-Contact-Form" = no reply; I then went directly myself to the store where I discovered the spare-parts section, I had to order a new tailpiece because the old one broke!!! Then it took almost 2 weeks until the part shipped. Overall OK, but not fantastic - plus still very disappointed that a metal tailpiece can actually brake. I wish I would have received some answers to why and if it could be related to the string-types used.
