I’m doing okay. I’m really happy with my choice of family, they make me feel like a part of it, truly. The place I’m living in it’s very different form where I’m used to so it’s been a journey but I’m happy.

After the initial hiccups of understanding the system we have enjoyed getting to know the candidates. We were a bit disappointed in how our cultural care representative changed at the beginning of our journey and felt that it was not communicated clearly to us. The initial paperwork is arduous but we could see the benefit of having filled it out. We are lucky in having a close family that has used CC and were able to learn a lot from them. We prefer consistency and believe that this is something CC could improve upon.

We’re about to have our second Au Pair move in and Cultural Care has been an excellent service. The au pairs are well prepared for the job and we have all the resources and support we have needed. It’s been a wonderful experience for our family.

I feel like my continued contact with cultural care is going well during my year here. I can call someone whenever I need it and the website is good for looking up additional help about travel in the US.

I have a great Host Family, they always care about making the work better for my experience and they really really care about the children feelings, so that means that everything was great in those 3 months so far. We had fun, we share a lot of families moments and they made me feel comfortable in every moment. We always communicate what we feel and any thing we feel is not right. Sometimes I feel like I don't deserve them.

My experience is good with my host family. I do believe for the amount of work we are required to do we should have a higher stipend.

Everything is going well with my kid and my friends and everything but it’s hard with the hosts parents. And sometimes it’s just not working even if I make efforts and try to communicate with them !! Chloé

My experience is going so well and I think is thanks to my host family. They are amazing people, they have treated me like family since day one. I also have make such great friends in the little time I've been here and that also helps to make this experience so good.

Didn’t have a good experience, not a good agency to travel with. The second you find yourself in a hard situation they’re not helpful at all, they really don’t care, they only care about the money they can’t get off of you.🤷🏻‍♀️

Our first AuPair was terrible and we went into rematch within 6 weeks. When they went to rematch her, the transition document did not include any of our actual issues with her - and the biggest incident they wrote out to look as if it was our child’s fault that she put them in danger. Our second AuPair left early because she struggled with depression and homesickness - and we were left with a significant credit with the agency. We still decided to give it a chance and we matched with a new AuPair - and despite our significant credit they’re expecting us to still pay a deposit. Not following the logic of the agency - they’re just out to make money. Follow Facebook groups of CC families and make sure you’re aware of the issues before you sign up with them. We will stay so far because we need the childcare and we are out $3k.

Great service from our local coordinator, but the web interface could use some improvements!
