We have just completed a daunting move from Hertfordshire to Scotland and the team at Comprehensive Removals were just fantastic at every step! They completed an in-person visit to work out the quote and the size lorry needed and were very prompt with the quote. Not necessarily the cheapest quote we had, but certainly not the most expensive, and now we have completed the move we would say excellent value for money! Five guys turned up to the property on the morning of the move and swiftly packed a three bed house and garage into the lorry within 2 hours! Very hardworking and quick! Tip - don’t pack your kettle as these guys deserve tea breaks! The plan was for two of the guys to then drive up to Scotland and spend the night and unload the following morning. After a chat they offered to unload the same night, following an 8 hour+ drive! While I appreciate that a lot of people would not want to do this, this worked out better for us so we amended the plan to do that. Unfortunately traffic happened and the drive was much longer than expected and neither us nor the lorry arrived until 9.45pm. Nevertheless the guys were still happy to unload the same night, assuming we were. The two guys who unloaded were amazing! Tony (and I do apologise I don’t remember the name of the other chap) worked like crazy to get everything into our new home and barely stopped until everything was in at 2am (though I did find the kettle this end for tea breaks!). They were sure to place everything in the correct rooms and even tried to place things in logical places and stack boxes to allow us space to move around still. Most of our breakables are now unpacked and nothing has been broken or damaged. Bear in mind they do stack the lorry all the way to the top, so pack well! Very professional team, while keeping things lighthearted which was very much appreciated on what could have been a very stressful day. Without a doubt I would use these guys again and will recommend them to anyone I know who is moving house.
Would defintely recommend Comprehensive Removals. From the first initial consult where one of their team came round and itemised everything we were taking (unlike a lot of companies that just want an itinerary from you). Ross in the office phoning me every now and then just to see how things were going. To the actual day of moving the 3 men,(sorry can’t remember their names)🙈,were just fantastic and hard working, didn’t stop not even for a lunch break! Made the whole moving day so much less stressful than I thought it would be. Plus they were the cheapest quote we got😃even better.

A brilliant company and a lovely team of men. My moved was unfortunately scheduled for the day of Storm Eunice and I worried if I would be able to move out due to the weather conditions. The team were great. Completing regular risk assessments they loaded up my home contents efficiently and quickly. They stored my stuff overnight without charge for storage as I was moving 60 miles away and the risk was too great to drive. Delivery was prompt the next morning. The men were super friendly and nothing was too much for them. They even moved a huge concrete bird bath that I had bought that was in my car to the garden. Everything was in superb condition with no breakages. Thank you for making a very stressful time a bit easier.
I arranged for the Company to move my 91yr old Mother, who has dementia, earlier this week. Unfortunately, due to my mum's condition, nothing was packed, or ready. However, the removal men (John, Scott, and Terry) went out of there way to clear the contents of the furniture, leaving them in very neat piles. They helped my mum, who has been house bound for 2 yrs, get into my car, and get out at of the car when we arrived at her new accommodation. They were patient, very understanding, professional, and everything went so smoothly. The Company obviously knows what they are doing, furniture was secured appropriately in the van, items that needed to be taken apart, were done so and put together again at the new accommodation. The cost of the removal was extremely reasonable, and I would use this Company again.
Great service from all the team at Comprehensive. Very professional service from Reece, Terry, Barry and Tony and everything was moved without any issues and faster than we could have expected. We would not hesitate to recommend them and they made fun out of what could have been a very stressful experience.

We used Comprehensive Removals for our move recently in Essex and they were brilliant. The team turned up on time and were very quick at loading up all the boxes and furniture. They then unloaded to the rooms we requested at the other end with care and efficiency. We have a few pets and working around them was no problem either making our day a lot less stressful! First time we've used a removal company for a move and they were brilliant, would definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to friends and family.

We used Comprehensive Removals to relocate from Dagenham to the West Midlands. We received a fantastic service, and they were much better value than other quotes we received. We used their packing service and I’m so glad I did; the day before we moved the team came and packed up our entire 3 bedroom house in less than 4 hours, leaving us with enough essentials to be comfortable. The day of the move went very smoothly; the team were efficient, careful, friendly and helpful. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Can't thank the team enough moving my elderly dad from Essex to Yorkshire. They were so friendly, accommodating and patient with him. Nothing was too much trouble. The customer service received was beyond satisfactory and would have no hesitation in recommending this company.
Everyone says that moving is one of the most stressful things in life…but not when you get these guys to help! They were amazing. I opted for the packing option as well and had Barry, Pete, Michael and Reece turn up on the Thursday morning. My whole house was packed and loaded with in 5 hours, they worked like machines. The next day Barry, Pete and Michael returned to do the last bits and unload at the new house. They made life so easy for me. They were clean, tidy, profession and nothing was too much trouble. Not one thing got broken and I couldn’t be more grateful. I cant recommend them highly enough. If I ever move again I wouldn’t think twice about contacting them.
I used Comprehensive Removals for a packing and removals service for a flat move from East London to Brighton back in July this year. They were brilliant and made the whole process as painless as it could possibly be. They were efficient and careful with the packing the day before, then similarly so with the actual move the 2nd day. The partially loaded truck was kept at their safe location overnight, so I didn't have to worry about parking and the safety of our stuff. Nothing was damaged or broken, and they were very professional and efficient throughout. Can't recommend them enough. I think we had Billy, Jack, and Barry, but sorry if I've mixed up the names.

Apologies to Comprehensive Removals for late review,( thought my husband had sent 1), We have used other removal companies before but with this one i needed to say what a fantastic company this was...great guys who all worked extremely hard, nothing was too much trouble and they really did take alot of our problems in their stride making the move as smooth as we could ever have hoped ...get a quote, and book...you wont be disappointed
