Paint, just better. Consciously made and curated. Everything you need to decorate straight to your door.
Super impressed with the quick delivery this bank holiday weekend. I’ve ordered a lot of paint from here now, Algorithm is our go to - a super light grey / off white. This is the first time we’ve tried the accessories too and they are fantastic. Such higher quality than b&q and not even more expensive. The roller sleeves 3 for £9 is cheaper than b&q and they are sooooooo much better. Also love how I always get a discount code with coat rewards
Painted hall stairs and landing with Sunday soul love it especially when the sun shines through and creates a warm glow Paint goes far we’ve sent a tin back Coat Team were really helpful definitely recommend
I am true believer in you get what you pay for. But this is not the case for Coat, very expensive and no substance. Thankfully i did not purchase the paint from my own pockets. Coats so called Eggshell and Primer has to be the worse I've ever used. Like the other reviews the primer smells more like the traditional oil based undercoat which I have used for the past 12 years. My advice is to go with Crowns Fast flow water based low VOC undercoat and eggshell for woodwork. I have moved away from oil based products. Coats emulsion is nothing special, again I would recommend Crowns Clean extreme, or Dulux diamond Matt which is 99.9 VOC free if you budget is bigger. I wont be using your products for any future works.
Excellent paint and service. Purchased Duvet Day in emulsion but then realised we needed clay based. COAT were happy to recieve the return and exchange for their new product. The clay based paint is incredible and perfect for our old limeplaster walls. It goes very far and we could easily of got away with 1 coat in places. We ended up painting another 2 rooms in the same colour. Feels like golden hour everywhere in tm home at the moment. I am now a COAT convert. Wouldn't use anything else.
Love the colours offered by Coat and the peel & stick samples were so useful to help me decide what to go for. The paint went on so smoothly and gave perfect coverage in 2 coats. Would definitely recommend and use again. Delivery was quick and the customer service team were also really helpful.
Ordered a number of tins to paint our recent loft conversion, and boy am I glad I did. The paint is luxurious and smooth and the colours are stunning. The order process and delivery also worked a charm. Look forward to my next bit of decorating!!
Ordered samples which were completely representative of the colour when it arrived! Service excellent - ordered on Sunday evening and delivered by Tuesday morning. Love the ethos of this company - great eco friendly packaging. The colour is amazing a very soft creamy / grey with no yellow tones and exactly what I envisioned! Decorator happy with paint quality and coverage! Really impressed and will definitely order again!
Ordered 10 L of a very expensive paint from Coat - They packed it so poorly that it arrived damaged. I contacted their customer service and was told by Jim that I'll have a replacement by next morning before 10:30. Meanwhile I had painters booked in for the next day, bare in mind that the paint should have been here the day before. By 14:30 the paint is nowhere to be seen, I contacted Coat again only to be told by an agent (Josh) that actually they lied to me and it is coming the next day. Great way to waste my time and money. Stay away from these hipsters and buy paint from people who know what they are doing. Also - They list a phone on their site which is obviously unmanned. Trying to save face, like all these people do. Scam artists. Stay away.
Used Coat paint on both old and virgin plaster. It’s a dream, great coverage and easy to apply. Lovely deep and rich colours. Would definitely recommend and use again in the future. Thank you Coat. Sara-Jane and Simon Gilbert, West Sussex
First time purchasing COAT and I adore this paint already! I am updating my metal garden furniture and I chose Nomad in Exterior paint as I just love this particular classy shade of green and my chairs and table have been either black or dark grey for so long. They already look the part and I am only halfway through the project. The paint arrived in super quick time after ordering, and has little if any odour at all. It is really nice to paint with, good brush coverage and goes on smoothly. I am definitely going to return to COAT for some interior projects planned later this year.
This paint is very good and goes on the wall in a lovely smooth way It’s brilliant to use and I will certainly use it again I’ve bought 3tins so far and keep looking for anything else I can paint Love the eco brand
I have painted many rooms over the years and have used mainly Dulux/Crown or own brand. After searching for a particular colour, we decided that Coat's Ditch the Tie and Cargo colours were for us. The paint is a bit pricier than the other brands I've mentioned but wow it was lovely to work with, the coverage was great and the finish second to none. Being a climate positive company too is a double bonus. I will definitely be using Coat paints from now on. Thanks guys!
Saw the paint for the first time in someone's house when I collected something I was buying from someone off FBMarketplace and asked what colour it was (Sunday Soul) - kept it in mind for about a year until I finally bought my first house and wanted it use it for the bedroom. It's a lovely thick and luxurious paint and 2 coats was enough. I used it across primed MDF, walls, and a primed IKEA cupboard and the paint went on to all three very well - no visible brush strokes at all. Definitely recommend the colour if you're thinking about it - it's a really unusual mushroomy colour that seems to change colour as the light changes. Tester sticker was spot on. Really pleased with it and can't wait to try more from Coat!
The guys at COAT are just so very helpful and provide a very personal, friendly service. I have used COAT in my previous house. The paint is just brilliant, covers so well with a huge array of colour choice and more eco-friendly. This paricular colour - Duvet Day is a beautiful ice creamy colour which just looks fab with our new wallpaper giving the room a lovely soft, warm feel. Would recommend to anyone.
Big promises poor coverage high level of resin in the flat matt so you can literally pull it off. Customer service attentive but quick to tell me it was my technique not the paint. Despite having no problem with other brands in the same property. Really expensive for poor finish.
The paint ordered arrive promptly and covered an old iron fireplace perfectly. Great colour that looks timeless. All in all a 5 star review.
I painted some of my upcycled furniture in some leftover coat paint from a friend and loved it so much that I bought two more tins to do my bedroom and hallway. The paint goes so far, I barely had to touch up after the first coat. I will definitely be using again and delivery was so fast so I could get my fix whilst I had the decorating bug!!!
I used COAT for a workplace rollout scheme last year. I selected COAT as an eco-friendly alternative to the more mainstream paint brands my client was using, and they were able to perfectly match the colours and at a better price. The finish was exceptional, as was the service, and I've gone on to regularly specify them in commercial and residential projects since.
I have now ordered coat twice and this is the best paint ever. We repainted our corridor that we had previously painted in blue with dulux and the finish with coat is simply amazing. The pigmentation is incredible and our handymen kept repeating how great the paint was and how beautiful the colour was. I am really wondering if repainting all the rooms that were previously painted with dulux! My only sorrow is that they stopped making yellow shades.
The paint was amazing - went on so smoothly and only took two coats for full coverage. I love the colours and would definitely recommend COAT to anybody!
