Excellent service from Jim and the COAT paints team plus excellent quality paint. This is the second room we have decorated with gorgeous COAT colours. Fully recommend them.

The primer from Coat is the most difficult primer I’ve ever used. I used a pure wool roller, and the primer could not be applied evenly on the ceiling or walls; it was simply too thick. Even after adding water, there was still a lot of chalky content. If I accidentally reapplied the primer on an area that already had it, the existing primer would peel off, leaving holes. However, when I used the primer and sealer I bought from another established brand, I didn’t have any of these issues. I will never use Coat’s primer again—it is just too difficult to work with. Now I have to spend more time and effort to remove the primer I’ve already applied. The difficulty of using this primer is such that I would want to include a clause in my will, requesting that no Coat products be used to paint my grave Thank you next bye

I made a purchase, at the start of the year to refurb my small kitchen. The paint, plus some new handles and a few weekends of hard work and I managed a fantastic kitchen makeover for less than £400. It just proves that picking the right products can help even a novice like myself achieve a great transformation in a very cost effective way. I am so impressed by COAT paint. High quality doesn’t always mean high costs, more so high value for money.

I've always used the paint from the well known brands or had it mixed to order at the counter but having struggled to find the colour that was just right I came across Coat. So far I've used two paints, 'on mute' a light grey and 'well grounded' an oat colour and both were exactly what I was looking for. Yes they are expensive but when you compare it to farrow and ball it's cheaper, the coverage is way better and the colour choices are much more modern. We are about to order ciao Sofia for our next room and would probably struggle to not use them for everything in the house going forward. I know some have mentioned the coverage but we used a trade paint as a base coat on plastered walls and I've found the coverage on both colours so far to be excellent and if you use a proper roller it seems to last for ages. Ten out of ten from me.

Unfortunately I liked it brand but their loyalty program is very cheeky. More you buy less you get let’s say. There are much cheaper and better quality of colour out there. I needed to get 2 more colours which are £60 but discount apply on £80 no mercy there

I've used coat paint now in two rooms of the house. The colours are excellent and I buy because they are an ethical Corp B business. However, I don't think coverage is that great. I've painted rooms previously with Dulux and used much less paint with great coverage. I didn't quite have enough to paint the door/radiator/other small parts I wanted to paint and just about managed the walls with a 5L tin (average sized 12msq room). I would choose them again if the colour was right because they are a more sustainable company and the paint is good quality - but I do wish it went a bit further!

Lovely paint. Very good coverage. Colours exactly as the tester cards. They maybe a bit expensive, but once the paint on the walls it is worth it. Plus they think of the planet.

I've been in the decorating business for over 30 yrs and have used all the different brands out there. Coat is up there with the best and better than most. Never used it before but found the coverage and finish top quality. Deep rich colours with no splashing or flashing when touching up. The multi surface primer was great on both woodwork and metal. The Eggshell finish fantastic. Would highly recommend Coat if you're looking for a high quality finish.

Would never go back to any other brand, love the colours and how easy it applies and blends in even with patch painting ❤️

I love the peel & stick samples which helped me pick my colour with no patches to paint over & no expensive taster pots. The paint was very good quality, covered with one coat, has dried with no brush strokes visible & went on easily with a roller with no splashes. I used Factor 50 in my kitchen & love it. Will definitely use again

Firstly, regarding the paint. Best paint I have ever used, purchased “On Mute” and was hesitant at £52 a can, total worth its price point, little goes a long way, paint quality was perfect, covered all the little imperfections from over the years. Colour was a true match to the sample card I received. Customer service, 10/10 Had a slight issue where DPD had damage the paint can when delivering causing it to leak, Josh was nothing but helpful, had a reply from them within the hour and had a replacement can the next day. Overall a fantastic experience and will be my go to paints going forward, worth every penny and Josh is a credit to you.

I bought floor paint in shade ‘Gumption’ about two months ago. I sanded the floor, followed all instructions, and I’ve had to re-paint my floor twice. It chips off incessantly, revealing the previous colour of the floor. I even had some paint transfer onto my foot last night? I’ve seen poster paint better quality than this.

Chose hardback paint,as wanted dark, sophisticated neutral. The paint went on lovely and gave a good coverage, no chemical smells that usually give me a headache, and then stomach ache,a pleasure to use.I love the finish of the paint,I used matt on the wall, and wooden fire surround.I did under coat the wood first.Brush strokes smoothed out to a lovely finish.I ordered a colour chart with my paint, which arrive very quickly, there are so many lovely classy colours,I will definitely use Coat paints again.

Ordered the Yard Party emulsion, delivery didn't go will and the lid had come off the paint during transportation. Not a great start, I contacted customer services and they sprang into action, I had a replacment sent within 48 hours great service, The paint is great the service 2nd to none. I would absolutely reccomend.
