An absolute joke. Ordered a gaming mouse online only for it to get refunded 10 days later. Went to a Cex shop in person where it SAID it had a mouse in stock, only for them to tell me it's not there. Seriously a waste of time.

Fully functional device, but without original box. The power cord was dirty and looked disgusting. It was an easy clean, but still. I was not aware I was buying a used item without packaging. Otherwise in good condition and worked perfectly. I would be bothered by all of the above, if it was not for a gift.

Although the item I received was not the correct one the problem was sorted quickly and a refund given straight away . So I would say that is good service .

I’ve given CeX multiple chances, but every purchase has been a frustrating experience. 1️⃣ Wrong Item Sent – Ordered a Sonos IKEA Symfonisk Gen 2 speaker, received a Gen 1. CeX’s only solution? Return it. No apology, no effort to send the correct item. I kept it as I needed a speaker, but it wasn’t what I paid for. 2️⃣ Inaccurate Stock Information – Checked online and saw the speaker was available in CeX Blackpool. Took the time to go there, only to be told it was a website mistake. A wasted trip. 3️⃣ Wrong Item Sent Again – Weeks later, the same speaker was still listed online, so I ordered it. What arrived? A completely different product (Sonos Play 1). Complained via email, expecting some form of resolution, but again – the only option was to return it. 4️⃣ Faulty Product – Against my better judgment, I ordered a Sonos Play 1 for a friend. The power cable didn’t fit properly, and the speaker didn’t turn on at all. At this point, I didn’t even bother complaining—just returned it immediately. Across all these orders, CeX never offered compensation or made any real effort to resolve the issues beyond a simple return. Their stock system is unreliable, their product descriptions can’t be trusted, and their customer service is indifferent at best.

Boxset set of Duck Dynasty arrived incomplete with one cd missing which was half of a season. While a Home Alone dvd I ordered (the standard original) came in family fun edition dvd case. It was easy to see someone had made a simple mistake as the two inventory numbers didn’t match up. While this may seem insignificant it was more my dealings with customer service that annoyed me most as I was made to feel that it was me that had misunderstood and that because the dvd inside was correct then all should be well and I should be grateful. I was offered that I could return both incomplete orders but having paid €7 for delivery €3.50 each it was going to put me out of pocket too much so I reluctantly choose to just hold on to them.
