I recently ordered a laptop online from CEX, but upon arrival, I discovered that it was blocked and unusable. After speaking with a staff member, I was informed that it had originally been a company laptop and should not have been sold. Following this, I visited the Arklow CEX store, where I was assisted by a staff member who advised that my laptop would be replaced with the same model, though at a different price. I was given a refund and informed that I would receive a phone call once the replacement laptop arrived, which was expected to take 3–5 days. However, after nearly two weeks without any update, I visited the store again, as I urgently needed a laptop for college. A staff member found a laptop in stock, but it was a different brand than the one I originally ordered, albeit with the same specifications. I was not informed about this change in advance, even though the store had known about it for four days. Additionally, since there was a price difference, I was expecting a refund for the excess amount. Instead, I was given a voucher rather than a cash refund, despite having originally paid with a credit card. When I requested a cash refund, I was told that it was not available. I had no choice but to take the laptop, as I needed one urgently, but I am disappointed with the handling of this situation. I did not receive the exact product I initially ordered, and I now have a voucher I do not intend to use.

Purchased a wireless charger from this place. The charger works fine but for some reason the cooling fan within the charger stopped working after the first day causing the phone to heat up more than it should.

The phone arrived as expected and in good condition. My only suggestion would be to provide information about the battery cycle count before purchase. It would be very helpful to know this number when making a decision.
