The process of booking our Level 3 building survey was easy and straight forward. Making payment and also making the requests for specific points we wanted looking at was very manageable. Communication was good. The survey was undertaken exactly as booked and the report returned to us within 24hours. The report was very detailed and thorough and we were clear on all works that were needed and time scale of when we should have these done. The layout of the report with supporting photos to illustrate each point was very helpful. The report also included costings for the work to help us budget. We have been very impressed with the speed and efficiency and ease of getting the survey done. We feel more confident proceeding with the purchase having had this survey done.

Complete waste of money. Would recommend hiring in various trades and specialists rather than spending money with this company. Firstly, the surveyor for a Level 3 RICS Building Survey was not listed on the RICS website. When pressed on this, C&C merely quoted terms and conditions back to us saying they do not carry out continuity checks on employees and we agreed to this prior to booking, therefore they are not liable. Seems wild, but when paying a substantial amount of money for a RICS survey, you expect this to be undertaken by a RICS surveyor. Regardless, the report was full of nonsense, nothing helpful or actually structurally relevant, apart from advising further surveys, damp specialists, structural engineers, electricians, roofers, etc. Literally no point in spending your money on this survey (or this company), and I would advise you find someone who can actually give any meaningful information and advice. Fully expect a defensive and condescending response from C&C in line with responses to other negative reviews, which should really tell you something about how this company likes to operate. Ultimately, we’re just ordinary people trying to buy a house and our opinions are entirely our own. But we will never, ever use them again.

The time from booking to getting a report was 9 days, which is quite good. Report itself had around 60-70 pages. However, In most of the cases report says "i am not an expert, you should check with specialist" or "i can't say for sure as...".
Found booking and payment fairly difficult, however staff over phone were helpful and from there on out nothing bad to say.
The service was excellent and the detail in the actual report was also excellent. I would like to advise this company that when they have phoned me it flashes up on my phone as POTENTIAL FRAUD I WOULD ADVISE THEM TO LOOK INTO THIS AS IT IS PROBALLY CAUSING POTENTIAL LOSS OF BUSINESS
Very happy with the service provided, the turnaround was as promised and even provided our survey earlier than expected. Friendly staff, specifically Zaynah who was accommodating and explained the process through with us both on the phone. The RICS level 3 report, was very thorough and ticked all the boxes for assurances in buying our first home. Very happy and would use their services again.
