Campaigner has completely transformed the way we approach email and SMS marketing. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, with intuitive tools that make it easy to design and automate campaigns. The customer support team is outstanding—responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us succeed. Highly recommended for anyone in email and SMS marketing.

This is a scam, probably being run by a professional group of scammers. They charged me , never used their services, they even locked my email list. The cancellation took 30 days, they charged me an entire monthly subscription as cancellation fees again. Never got to send a single email during this time, the account remained locked. Stay away from this company, it is an elaborate scam, the features dont work and they charge double subscriptions using the same tactic with everyone. Its not even a company, just a call center scamming businesses.

We had issues with two factor authenication. I thought I set it up by mistake. Looking at their instructions it tells you how to disable it. But the buttons were either missing or greyed out. I called technical support and was told that it is indeed required. So why the false instructions in their help files? Plus I never reached anyone on their chat program, waited so long I had to call.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company is an absolute joke who have illegal policies regarding account cancellation and have taken away all means of user access and control over their account. You cannot even cancel your subscription to your own account without going via the absolute worst tech support who will legitimately dispute your decision with you. Disgusting and appalling and should be put to legal proceedings. Never, ever trust these guys.

Campaigner don't even deserve one star. I signed up to initial 30 day trial, couldn't get any access to my account thereafter. Several emails back and forth with support who were completely useless. I advised that I wanted the account closed as couldn't even use it to avaluate if it was any good. Realised I have been billed now and when trying to cancel, have been told I will be billed again. All for a product I can't and have never been able to use. STAY FAR AWAY!

Stay far away from this company. They increase the cost and will never let you downgrade or cancel your subscription keeping charging on your card. The customer service is useless, they forward everything to a guy of the finance team who’s like a ghost and in the meanwhile they carry on charging the increased cost!!! Absolutely cheating!!!! I tried to ask for the refund and they are rolling with thousand of excuses. Run away from them.

Support is terrible - I signed up, tried it for a few months then they upgraded my plan without my permission or knowledge, tried to downgrade back to original plan and they ghosted to me but still charge me for the higher plan. Support just is terrible.

Campaigner do not take spam emails originating from their customers seriously. They advise spam victims should 'unsubscribe'. Yeah right! Unsubscribe from a service the victim never subscribed to in the first place simply confirms to the spammer the email address is valid. The worst thing a spam victim should do. There is a risk for other Campaigner clients who do not spam to suffer contagion effect of being associated with a bad neighbourhood.

Avoid like the plague - they make it very difficult to cancel your account after the free trial that they make you enter your card details for.

Campaigns were extremely easy to create and look good. The interface was easy to use and very self-explanatory. Great product, would recommend!

First: you are required to input credit card details for trial. You cant cancel the trial except you call. When you call, it takes forever to answer. You get charged and you cant even use the service until you contact customer care (which on their website is 24/7 but in reality, is never there) which is never there and even when they answer, the empathy is so pathetic. You need to contact customer care to explain how you intend to use the service before they can allow you use the service, for which they already charged you for. You get your account closed but no refund for not being able t use the service. This is the greatest internet scam of all time!

You are forced to enter payment details for trial and you cancel you must phone. You cannot cancel via the platform.

We had used Campaigner by Protus for about 2 years and decided to prepay for a year to receive an 18% discount. We prepaid $2,952 in January 2019 but starting the next month we had significant delivery issues with Gmail blocking delivery and overall open rates in the low single digits. We had reached out to our account rep and tech support numerous times to discuss the issues. On three separate work arounds we completed their recommendations and followed-up with subsequent blasts but continued to have delivery issues and very low open rates. We contacted Campaigner and asked for refund for the unused months and they denied the request because under the prepaid contract there are no refunds. As a result, we reversed the charge and they immediately blocked the account, they then disputed the charge and still have not reopen our account or contacted us. Knowing this I would just warn others to not subscribe to their larger plans, stay month-to-month and expect the service to deteriorate over time. It would take about 5-7 days for tech support to respond to emails.
