A financial website which won't bore you to tears, rip you off or talk in jargon. But will help you make smart decisions, show you what others are doing and put your questions to an expert.
Good, sound financial advice served-up in an accessible, non-technical, non-intimidating style. Rapidly becoming the first port-of-call for the less experienced investor, pension-seeker and anyone else ruminating on money matters.
An excellent site - intelligent, refreshing, funny, honest! I used it to find out if I need financial advice (yes) and which investment platform to use (if any). I also enjoy reading the reader Qs and As The only reason I can't quite give a fifth star is I personally find the layout of the opening page, and some of the others, visually a bit jarring. But this is a minor quibble! Good luck with the CrowdFund.
The answer to my question took a while to arrive [but here again many organisations I've contact have, probably because many people are working remotely at the moment]. The reply was concise, informative and helpful. I'm pleased with the way my question was answered.
I find Boring Money refreshingly honest, direct and helpful. They provide interesting, informative financial information for private investors.
Holly is lovely over email. If you want to get to know her better try a podcast and check out the website. Very easy to understand.
Boring Money is anything but, it is informative, up to date, easy to understand and the Friday blog is funny, something I never thought I would say about anything in the financial sector.
sign up for the friday emails, highlight of my week. Apart from sound financial insights, it's just very well written, makes me laugh despite the current dreadfull circumstances.
A great read from Holly in any language! Well done look forward to next edition.
Asked a question and got a very quick and professional answer many thanks great website. Wanted to say thanks on the site but couldn't find a way so hopefully you read this instead.
Love the weekly updates, very informative and not stuffy with the advice everything in simpletons terms (Thats me of course) can't wait for the horrible news next week!
Really good site and invaluable info and I’m loathed to knock a star off, .....but I find the main site a little confusing, I guess you want to put as much out there as possible, but it’s a bit too much on one page, perhaps needs to be categorised for simpletons like me to get my head around. Finanaces are a foxy enough subject. So a slightly clearer site would be welcome, ps you’re not the only money site that is a bit confusing. Please don’t think this as a criticism, what you do is fab and very welcome.
Clear information in a murky world. No one has the time to dig into every ISA and investment supplier, so its good to see a short and sweet yet comprehensive website which gives the salient factors and allows some quick comparisons. From there one can go and explore further. I applaud the common sense approach. Well worth saving the web address.
Like the tone of the newsletter. Very readable and very understandable.
Refreshing straightforward.
Truly helpful, informative and reliable for a wide range of financial questions and guidance. My ‘go to’ for investment information and explained in a way that anyone can understand. Thanks so much Boring Money!
The site is getting boring and a bit biased about Brexit.
I really enjoy the emails from Holly! She makes money interesting - I actually look forward to reading them. The advice is useful, and for someone who doesn’t work in finance they offer succinct and understandable information
Always interesting, Always relevant, always thought provoking and often fun.
A very detailed response to my query about socially responsible investing within 24 hours - in language that I can understand. (I am a novice to investing.)
Witty, accessible, helpful. What more could you want?
