My driving instructor was Shane McKenna and I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to drive. He was kind, calm, amazing, funny and patient. If I made any mistakes he would talk to me about it in detail on how to correct them. I was lucky to have him teach me and he has massively helped with my confidence when driving and I could not have passed without his learning and support. I am going to miss our weekly lessons and lovely chats!! Thanks Shane

I learnt to drive with BDS an have had 40+ hours of lessons I was a very nervous driver an not very confident but driving with Dave T he has made me relax an become a more confident an relaxed driver I am super happy they make me feel at ease. highly recommended.

When I started driving with Dave at BDS. I had already taken my driving test 3 times with someone else and failed each one. I was looking for someone who could build my confidence up when driving and I found exactly that, with Dave. He made sure I was ready for my driving test and Donna (at BDS office) made sure I got the best date and time to do my driving test and I am so please to say that I passed my driving test yesterday. I passed first time with BDS, even though I took my test 4 times. I only need one with BDS, as they make sure that you are ready before booking your test.

Spending my lessons with Dave was a great experience; whilst being very observant to ensure I was in the best possible position for my test, we also had a great laugh which made the time learning to drive relaxing and enjoyable. Equally, Robert, another instructor with BDS, matches the skills of Dave making both great instructors at BDS!

The instructor was very helpful, friendly and kind in guiding me through 5 driving tests.

BDS was a great choice for me to learn with. The process of booking on was very easy and once on my lessons I was made to feel very relaxed by Cindy. She helped me enormously to gain confidence and give me key advice. Thank you so much. I would recommend BDS and the area of Blackpool as a great place to leant to drive.

Mandy was very patient instructor and I learned a lot of skills driving wise from her. She is very good and her explanation on every maneuvers are really good and handy. Thanks Mandy!

I did a 15 hour crash course with Simon he was absolutely brilliant BDS are great , no faults , really good service would definitely recommend , made me feel extremely comfortable.

I passed my practical driving test first time with Dave Thorpe.His experience and guidance allowed me to pass in 13 lessons and although I am excited to get on the roads by myself, I will miss our lessons. Thankyou Dave!

My intensive course was with Mike Joannou, what an unbelievable man assisted me with what I needed, listened to where I felt I needed help and ensured I persevered with it. Kept me on course all week, any hiccups I had he made me repeat until it stuck. I passed with no minors and I couldn’t be happier. Mike also took time with me on a personal level and built a rapport with me regarding anything and everything really. Great experience, perfect result.

Paul’s a great teacher, nice guy and was always on time and always worked around the times I was available for lessons, overall it was brilliant.

I’m over the moon, I passed my test with zero faults thanks to Paul! Great driving teacher he’s very calm, nice and it’s a comfortable drive! Paul explains questions and answers with full details which made me feel confident in my driving lessons because he made sure I understood what I needed to know! All round lovely and friendly teacher! I have recommended him and BDS to friends.

My son passed first time with BDS. 20 hour intensive course over a week preceded by some home instruction had him driving within 90 days of his 17th birthday. Donna was a whizz at all of the bookings and administration whilst Simon was highly professional with a brand new car and turned up to each and every appointment bang on time. I can highly recommend BDS on this basis.

Thanks to my brilliant instructor Ian Buckingham I was able to pass my driving test first time he taught everything I needed to know and without him I wouldn’t be the driver I am now
