BDS Driving School have been in business for almost 25 years. We offer Male and Female Driving Instructors in Manual and Automatic Cars. We provide lessons on a weekly basis or 1 week intensive courses, whichever way you wish to learn we can help you get on the road. BDS Driving School provide one week intensive courses (Some people call them crash courses). Our Intensive courses are all done in Blackpool on a 1-2-1 basis (no car sharing) and we book the driving test to take place on the last day of the course. BDS Driving School are NOT a booking agent. Just passed first time today with only two minors thanks to Sally. Highly recommend Sally as she was very patient and knowledgeable as she could answer any question I had. I feel like she has set me up to be a confident but safe driver even after my test. Thanks BDS!! 😁

just passed my test with bds .I have been with paul for 7 months now and he has got to be one of the most friendliest , funniest driving instructors i’ve heard about , i would’ve never thought that driving with paul would be so fun , especially greatest hits radio quiz every 10:30 and pop master . And lots and lots of fisherman’s friends , thankyou paul🚗
Just passed today with Simon Anson as my driving instructor doing an intensive course. Not a bad word to say about him, made me feel comfortable while driving and had a laugh so there wasn’t as much pressure on me. Thanks Simon!

I just passed with Dave Thorpe as my instructor. He was great and gave me the confidence I needed to pass and become a safe driver. He’s very patient and understanding if you get things wrong, it’s all about learning in the process!! Also, big thanks to Donna for searching for tests and helping me get one as early as possible.
Just passed my test first time with Dan Jenkins id just like to say thanks to Dan for all the confidence and all the hard work he’s put in over the last week for me. Highly recommend Dan as an instructor!
I was so lucky to have BDS. Donna was simply great. Within days she managed to book me a practical exam date. It doubled the luck to have Mandy Kerr as my instructor. The full credit must go to her for refining me with patience which led me to succeed in my test. The 15hr fast-track course very well worked for me. Thank you very much BDS. Highly recommend to anyone pursuing fast-track driving courses. Last but not least, definitely value for money service unmatchable.
Paul absolutely amazing, helped me so much throughout my lessons and was amazing company for the 2 hours a week. beat the fail statistics and passed my first time thanks to him.
BDS were such a huge help in me passing my driving test. Since joining them my learning has been accelerated and I now feel safe and ready to drive. My driving instructor Sally was the best I could ask for, and I could not recommend them enough.
I Can’t thank Mandy enough what an amazing woman. Mandy was really patient with me always understood what I was struggling with & explained things really well. She gives you 110% when she’s teaching you & always makes you feel at ease. I can’t recommend Mandy enough. everyone interested in automatic lessons book with Mandy you won’t regret it.

Mike joannou is by far one of the best if not the best driving instructor in Blackpool he really makes it happen for you. Mike's a friendly genuine,down to earth guy who is patient kind and a fantastic teacher/instructor. If your serious about passing your driving test I can't stress how good he is

Absolutely amazing driving school treated like a friend not a learner loved each lesson with Shane McKenna taught me how to drive safely and responsibly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor , passed second time due to a tiny error the first time which was very silly but passed second time with 4 minors , loved having the car conversations and chat while learning to drive would recommend to anyone needing an instructor or wanting to learn how to drive, top guy will miss it.
I had a Really good driving instructor- Shane McKenna- he was very patient and got me the pass I wanted. However I do think the test fee is very expensive as you have to hire the car as well as pay for your test. But apart from that I had an excellent experience

I had Dave Thorpe as an instructor, he was very professional and very helpful during lessons and explained things very well to make learning more comfortable. I had dave for a year and he got me through my test despite the nerves so i’d really recommend him as an instructor.
Recently passed my test with Blackpool Driving School. I had Dave Thope as my instructor, he was so professional throughout every lesson, helped me over come my nerves, had the patience of a saint and nothing was too much trouble. If you want a good, calm instructor Dave’s your man. Donna was a great help too, from booking my test, sending me all the details I needed to help get me ready for the test and what was to be expected. Can’t thank them both enough.
