BDS Driving School have been in business for almost 25 years. We offer Male and Female Driving Instructors in Manual and Automatic Cars. We provide lessons on a weekly basis or 1 week intensive courses, whichever way you wish to learn we can help you get on the road. BDS Driving School provide one week intensive courses (Some people call them crash courses). Our Intensive courses are all done in Blackpool on a 1-2-1 basis (no car sharing) and we book the driving test to take place on the last day of the course. BDS Driving School are NOT a booking agent. Honestly I can’t thank Mandy enough for helping me grow my confidence and helping me pass my driving test, 2nd time lucky! She’s given me so much more confidence and helped me overcome fears I thought I wouldn’t. Mandy is an amazing instructor who put a lot of time and effort to help me believe in myself and she believed in me too. She’s one of the best and I would highly recommend her as a driving instructor!

I started my lessons with Mandy mid April and passed my test first time in February. Mandy is amazing driving instructor. She always made me feel comfortable and confident. Thank you so much for all your help Mandy

BDS has been very accommodating especially during the time when all driving schools were full due to the pandemic. They were also able to arrange my practical test without hassle.
Please think about using this company! £3000 wasted on lessons, 3 tests booked and paid for the instructor to then say not ready and shouldn’t have had a test! Refused to book another test unless spent even more money on lessons. Disgusting. Office staff were very unhelpful. Company is clearly out for money not for helping people pass tests! She has failed recent instructor exam. Has been racist during lessons and made disgusting comments about people! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
Russel is an excellent instructor, kept faith in me when I didn’t even have faith in myself to pass would definitely recommend both Russel and the company!
Mike gave me excellent tuition at a pace that suited me. He was very calm & patient which helped put me at ease straight away. 6 day course from zero experience and I passed first time!
I had Simon as my instructor and I can say when I went to him I had barely any confidence driving and I was sloppy on a fair few things and by the end of my course I was confident and doing everything exactly how it should be done and I passed my test first time with only two minors 🤩 I have recommended BDS to friends and family and I would highly recommend them to anyone! This is the second time we have used BDS for our family. Russell was fantastic, not just because Henry passed first time but after every lesson I had a summary of what he had to work on between lessons, his progress, and nxt lesson objectives. Extremely professional and reliable. Highly recommend.
I had Lorna as a driving instructor and I honestly couldn’t recommend her anymore! Such a lovely lady who filled me with confidence to drive on the roads.

Highly recommend BDS driving school.. especially Simon Anson. I booked a 20 hour course with him self. And I passed my test Friday just gone with only 1 minor driving fault. I wouldn't of done this without Simon so I am extremely grateful. Thankyou to everyone at BDS 😊

I had Chris Hopkins as my instructor and i couldn’t reccomend him enough. It took me 3 times to pass my test and Chris was super patient with me and constantly reassuring. He believed in me and I really think that he is one of the best instructors out there. Thankyou Chris!!
Flawless experience with Emma Bird whilst preparing for my trailer test. Emma was super accommodating with some last minute training before my test. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly is excellent at her job! She ensures at all times you are comfortable and understand the reasoning behind things. Couldn’t recommend more, if you want someone to help coach you to passing you trailer test, or normal driving test. My brother will be learning with Emma later this year. Thanks again Emma :)
Passed my Driving test today first time, Cindy was amazing from start to finish, she made me feel so comfortable, she was really nice and funny and made the hours driving in the car really pleasent. She put alot of time and effort into teaching me and I'm honestly going to miss her!! Thank you so much for everything!! ❤❤
Had lessons from Lorna, very patient, friendly, lots of help in getting me to a pass and generally just a really pleasant person to sit in a car with for an hour at a time. Donna was also really helpful with booking tests so overall a good experience!
