I tried the gin with the, recommended, mixer of dry ginger in normal proportions. It was an interesting drink but, i felt, the dry ginger stifled the flavour of the gin and was not as refreshing as my normal G&T. For reference my normal tipple is Bombay Sapphire (blue bottle) in the proportion of 25/75 in favour of Schweppes full fat, tonic.

Discovered Birch Gin at the wonderful Trinity of Battle resturant last night while celebrating an 80th birthday. The gin went down wonderful and made the evening a jolly old affair. Can't wait to purchase a bottle for Christmas.
