Prompt service and keep you update
I had a prepaid euro card with ACE-FX and loaded it with £2000 for an upcoming holiday. The cards are now being discontinued at the end of June 2017 so I had to cash my money in. The website says 3-5 days before you recieve your money. That time period repeatedly gets increased. It is now a four week wait. My holiday will be over by then and I'm getting no help whatsover from the company. If they would have been honest from the start - I would have cashed in my card at any bank instantly. They were not honest with their timing and still have my money. Avoid the cards promoted by this company. Stick to cash exchange. UPDATE: I wrote to ACE-FX, contacted the Financial Ombudsman and wrote this review and one of them triggered some action. My refund was paid instantly into my bank account. I'll update my rating a little but I'm still about £100 down on this episode as I bought euros at 1.16 and was refunded at 1.11

It's always unnerving to place your trust in a company you found online and don't know much about. I obviously did some homework and found these guys have a physical location in London, and the reviews were great, which was reassuring. The other sign of a company that cares is that where there was the occasional issue, they had bothered to respond publicly and were keen to resolve any problems. In terms of my actual experience, it was really positive... ordering was painless, I was kept informed about delivery, and my money arrived as promised. I will definitely use ACE-FX again. Your rates are very good, but I personally cannot agree that you charge £1 for using a Debit Card, which is cash, your employee told that is what machine company charge us. I used my debit card elsewhere that day and I asked them is there any charge, they said no its basically cash

I was looking for a good Exchange rate deal on the internet and sorry to say this was my second choice one. The first one i tried was so complicated trying to sort out information filling out details etc,so i choose ACE-FX, which was so much easier and straightforward. I had my currency within the time specified.
Always use ace fx for holiday currency- good rates and reliable and fast pick up service. If the rate improves after your online order the order amount is amended accordingly to reflect the change. Very good!
