Terrible experience! Needed to convert a sizeable amount of euros back into pounds. After placing an order online, went to the LB branch and was told only a bank transfer was possible. After 5 days of waiting for the money to arrive and countless times chasing with any number of excuses, I had to travel back into London to collect the money again as they were unable to process the transaction. Anyone looking to do the same, please swerve this company and use Coventgarden FX instead!

Good rates, awful service at London Bridge branch. Placed a sale order online and the following day went to collect, only to be told it was bank transfer only and asked to write my account details on a scrap of paper. Slightly nervous about this but reassured that funds would be in my account by 5pm the following day and provided with a settlement advice receipt. Am still waiting for the funds to arrive and awful customer service when calling to chase. Avoid at all costs! Too much stress and hassle for a few more £ than established currency providers.

Exchanged 2200 euros by post and they paid into my bank account the next day after they received delivery. They even paid a slightly better rate than what was quoted when I created order. And no asking for extra documents or any other nonsense like that. I also contacted them before sending and they were quick to answer the phone and helped with a question I had, would definitely use again.

Ordered £1000 worth of euros to be delivered, delivery missed on 30th May and currency sent back to the post office. After weeks of chasing ACX, they advised that the package was returned by the post office but the money had gone. I then was told I had to raise a claim and it would take up to 30 days. I have yet to receive any money refunded it and update on the claim. It is now 5th Sept, therefore ACX has had my money for 3 months. Appalling service from ACX and will not use again! Read the small print as ACX do not take any responsibility for loss of currency when delivering it to customers

Absolute 5 star service. Whether it was my fault or a system error, our currency did not arrive yesterday. Frankie went out of his way, today on a Saturday and his day off, to personally deliver the currency to our address. Having used Ace-FX for many years and this is regard as service beyond expectations, thank you.

I exchange some money ( from gbp to euro) with them last month. Their rate is not the best, I choose them only because they guarantee they can send the money to me by Thu. Turns out the money only delivered on Friday 11am (the day that I depart) which I don’t think it’s acceptable. I would suggest to avoid to use this company

I pre ordered FX and arrived at the London Bridge branch 2 hours before closing to find it shut. They didn’t even bother to call me so it was a wasted trip and now I have to scramble to find FX before my early flight tomorrow. Very unreliable. Avoid

Great service: booked a currency sale for some Omani Rials & took them to the London Bridge office. All good, except some of the new Omani notes I had been given were not on the Ace-FX system, so they could not initially identify them. Instead, I was given a receipt & the notes were sent to head office overnight for checking. As agreed, I had a call the next morning to say all were good, and when I returned to complete the sale, they gave me the new rate for the day, which improved the exchange in my favour. So, a slight hiccup, but couldn't have been solved in a more helpful & direct way, so I was happy with the service.

I ordered some Turkish lira on Monday, i was told it would be in the shop ready for collection after 3pm Wednesday I got a call Wednesday morning, I was told their was a problem with their ‘tech’ can I come after 3pm. I said no problem, to be sure I’ll come on Thursday. I came today ( Thursday ) to be told it was still in transit and they have no lira in stock One wasted journey to Canary Wharf I’ll think twice about using them again !!

I went to Canada Place Ace FX bureau in Canary Wharf during mid-day. The service was appalling. The manager of the office is even worse, as in only minutes, he managed to demonstrate very clearly that he is lazy, careless, arrogant and does not have a clue of what customer service means. I went to withdraw USD and they did not have either 1, 5 or 10 dollar notes and they did not care at all. How is it even possible? Are they not supposed to prepare for the day and ensure they have enough varied denominations? (this was a quiet day so clearly no excuse relating to volumes would be acceptable). The cherry on the cake is that this same incompetent manager was apparently not in the mood so decided to refuse to provide any dollars at all despite the fact I had pre-ordered online. This totally incompetent manager needs to be removed with immediate effect.

I've used a few FX firms over the years and ACE-FX are the best I've found. Rates are pretty competitive and their customer service excellent for home delivery Loving their new 'bank transfer' way to pay; much more secure than giving debit card details

Guy told us exactly what we need to do including sending money in the post and was a very smooth transaction. If we ever need anything else exchanging will definitely use the service again!

I've been using Ace-FX since 2016. My usual collection point is the Calbot Place branch at Canary Wharf. I've always had a positive experience with ACE. I've ordered mainly JPY online and collected it next working day. The rate I get is usually one of the better ones I've seen online when compared to other companies, however when I needed some Euros, the rate on the day was much better than what was shown online. I'm not sure about other currencies but next time if I need Euros I'll just pop in rather than reserve online. I've also used their buy-back service because I had some left over NOK notes, they bought it back for a good exchange which was great. Sometimes theres only 1 person working at the counter, and if it's a busy day it could take some time waiting. The customer service has always been very friendly and helpful. I'll just show them my confirmation email, ID, and within a second they'll have my envelope ready. They'll count the cash in front of you, and I'll pay via debit card. Spot on every time. Once it's safe to travel internationally again, I'll be back.

There was a bit of a delay with my collection service. But the staff were very professional and apologetic. Had to wait a bit but eventually received my money and I was on my way. Thank you ACE-FX!
