I buy for my division of approximately 800 staff and had a last minute request come to me. I was in serious need for two Kangaru 256 MB external Hard Drives and my usual vendors didnt have them ready to ship for next day delivery. I did a quick Bing search and found BLTSales. I saw they had them in stock but I had to be sure they would ship out right away/same day. I called them and got this great guy on the phone- David. He assured me that although I was calling at the end of my business day (4:30 pm) they would ship out and arrive next day- I asked for next 10:30 Fed Ex delivery and I got it. I was able to provide my discounted Gov't Fed Ex account which saved on the shipping costs. My staff were able to take them with them on travel to Egypt thenext afternoon after I placed the order- less that 24 hrs from when I spoke to David. I was SO pleased !! The service was top notch and this guy David -pull my feet from the fire.. I NEEDED those external hard drives and he really helped me out. I ordered a pair of inexpensive Belkin-brand audio cables from BLT Sales to connect my PC's audio card to a Behringer-brand audio interface device. The cables arrived the next day! THE NEXT DAY! Now while I can't guarantee that anything that you order from BLT will arrive the next business day, I am reminded of the story of the Fourth-century Roman Emperor Julian, who sought to revive the health of the Roman Empire by restoring the Roman Gods to what Julian and his followers believed was their rightful place in the culture of the Empire. Julian was believed to have been the first person to use the meaningless expression "reach out to" when he most likely meant "call," and often used the word "issue" when he really meant "problem." Julian was killed in battle against the Sassanids of Persia. Actually, Julian, the Roman Empire and the Sassanids have NOTHING to do with BLT Sales, but I am reminded how coworkers at my place of business would go into local breakfast shops and ask for outgoing orders consisting of "a BLT, with lettuce and tomato," to annoy the shop owners.
