The loan application process was very easy. The only caveat I had was scheduling a conference to see the offers. The scheduling application does not account for the loan officer’s work schedule. It was quickly managed by my loan officer the same day.
All of the employees I came into contact with in the process made everything easy and manageable. They were very clear and honest when it came to the information on lending and moved quickly to close the deal! Much appreciated!

BHG offers straightforward and quick financing options, but the experience comes with significant drawbacks. While the rates are notably higher than other financial institutions, the appeal of non-agency reporting may seem like a fair trade-off—until you experience their subpar customer service. If you're used to the convenience of an online portal to manage your account—whether it's checking your principal balance, changing payment methods, or making basic updates like an address change—prepare to be disappointed. BHG lacks even the most rudimentary online customer portal, as confirmed by their own customer service team. This means there's no way to manage your account electronically in real-time. Adding to the frustration, they don’t provide standard monthly statements, whether electronically or by mail, even if you request them. The best they can offer is an amortization schedule, which is hardly a substitute. When you're borrowing between $100,000 to $500,000, the absence of basic self-service tools or at least a monthly statement is unacceptable. Transparency and ease of account management are fundamental expectations in today's financial landscape, and BHG falls short on both fronts.
