The team did an excellent job of packing up and moving the contents of my 3 bedroom apartment and moving it to another property in the country 2 hours from London. They were very efficient and extremely helpful and worked quickly but in a very friendly manner

What a great company. Cheerful, friendly guys who just got on with a very difficult delivery. They (9 guys) brought a very heavy item through a newly refurbished house, using an unconventional method they worked out themselves. Then spent time assembling it and positioning it exactly where it was meant to go. Would 100% recommend

A catalogue of disasters: beware of this company. They arrived late for a major household removal. They then damaged floors and walls getting items downstairs, which in turn were chipped and marked. They 'mislaid' my valuable fold-up Brompton bicycle which never made it to my destination. One Polish guy in particular complained volubly and unpleasantly about the boxes being heavy. They did not arrive at the destination (half an hour away) till dark, and used that as an excuse for dumping stuff anywhere. They refused to take the desk upstairs, saying it would need dismantling, for which they had no time though they would do it the next day. They scratched more walls unloading, left my wardrobe screws on the floor without bothering to re-insert them: the list of grievances goes on. The only damage for which they claimed liability was for the badly scratched wooden floor, but having promised to remedy it, they have never got back to me again. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

I have used WVG before and found them excellent. This time I wanted a small internal move of furniture undertaken. Initially they were responsive and friendly. Subsequently I asked if they could undertake a slightly revised task. Some days later I’m still awaiting the promised call back. If they don’t want to do the job why not just say so?

The move itself went incredibly smoothly. Richard and Luis transferred everything to their van quickly and with no problems whatsoever. In fact, they took the initiative and re-packed my son George's weights to make them easier to carry. I wasn't at the destination but George and our new "Landlady", who is also a personal friend, were very impressed by the way they unloaded everything and their friendly attitude. Both deserve a massive thank you, as does Millie in the office who arranged everything. She explained every step to me very clearly when the booking was made and was a delight to deal with. (There was a late change to the size of the load made on Saturday. I'm not sure what the lady's name was who I spoke to, but she was absolutely brilliant and there were no hiccups come the Monday. !)
