The language process is complex and goes through different phases, namely translation, adaptation and finally synchronisation to the video (if needed to be recorded to image). In order to achieve optimal results, this final part of the process is the most important, so it is vital that it is done not just by a nice sounding voice over but by an experienced voice artist/linguist with the authority to make final adjustments. Voicebooking only works with experienced voice actors with a thorough knowledge in linguistics and will never compromise a recording by leaving it in the wrong hands!

Voicebooking is an excellent buffer between the artist and the client. They book the job and keep you up to date with developments by email. You submit your audio files to them and they forward them to the client, unless you're working in an external studio, then it's even simpler. You submit your invoice to voicebooking and get paid. Easy. Pros: The online agents are very nice to deal with and happy to deal with queries and niggles. I got also paid pretty quickly on both jobs I've done for them so far. They take care of getting the money from the client and you just invoice them directly online. Cons: The second job I accepted turned out to be more work than expected for quite a small fee. However, this was probably my own fault, voicebooking always asks you to approve a job before you are booked. When working in your own studio the client has the right to ask for retakes if they are not happy with the performance; and if you are working with a client whose native language is different from your own this can make for some interesting requests! However, none of this is unmanageable. I would definitely recommend this agent based on my experience so far.
