I've been using these guys for a while now, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The speed is consistently fast, allowing me to stream , work remotely, and game online without any lag or buffering. Unlike my previous providers, I haven't experienced random dropouts or slow speeds during peak hours. The connection remains stable, even when multiple devices are in use simultaneously. Customer service has also been fantastic—friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful whenever I had any queries. The installation process was smooth, and I was up and running in no time. Great work!

Absolute c*ap! After receiving a postal drop to say that I was within their area, and double checking online, I'd booked an install, and was pleased that finally I could leave overpriced Virgin. Took the day off on the day of install, only to receive an email at mid-day to say that I had cancelled the order. Made 5 phone calls, all with promises of a call-back to let me know what was going on. Not once did I get a call-back. Absolutely awful service. UPDATE: No, I have not been spoken to by any of your managers, despite being promised a call-back 5 times. Your explanation does not improve things. To have the order cancelled 30 minutes before the engineer was due to arrive is not acceptable. Clearly you were aware of the issue well in advance, as I had already contacted you to advise that the router had not been delivered in advance. My comments as to the quality of your service still stand. Further Update - 13/3/25. In the interest of full disclosure, and in fairness to The One Broadband, I have now received contact from a senior manager (Douglas, my apologies, I forget your title). My comments regarding the experience on the day still stand. However the manager has spoken to me, and assured me that he is investigating their process, to see where things failed. I believe him to be sincere in his efforts (it certainly wasn't the normal 'company apology' call), and so hope that others will have a better experience than me. A token payment has been received by me, in respect of the cancelled appointment.

Refreshing to speak to an actual human being when I called to switch. I was quite sure what they were pitching me wasn’t going to be what I ended up with (companies always promise the world and underdeliver...) but I have made the switch and I am reviewing it as I was pleasantly surprised. Great customer service and my broadband is working perfectly.

My parcel was delivered on time. The installers were on time and polite. Apart from a little teething problem getting started my experience was excellent

The installation for the fibre optic connection went very smoothly with minimum disruption by considerate operatives. After that, the set up was really easy, using their app. The download and upload speeds are great - much better than we have been used to in the past. All in all a great experience with a small company providing a good service.

I’m very happy with the service provided by the One Broadband. The installation was carried out professionally. The broadband speed is very impressive, far better than I have had before. Highly recommend by anyone looking for fast broadband at a very competitive price.

Paying £45 amonth got a booster aswell an still struggle in certain areas! I dont understand everything when it comes to broadband an talked a good talk as all sales advisors do i went from pating £33 amonth with talktalk to paying £45amonth with the1 with a booster which i pay for from them! For the same rubbish internet i will be canceling cos i guess its set to go up in price aswell so wont be paying more for less! They certainly saw me coming

Fantastic service from start to finish. As we transferred from talktalk to the one there was alight disruption of service after the switchover. I called the one and within 20 minutes service was up and running. They even went above and beyond by providing us with a higher spec router so we could utilise the full 2.5gb speeds throughout our house and provided us with an additional booster too. Since day one speeds have been consistent and flawless getting exactly as advertised with 0 downtime. I would highly recommend the one in comparison to other smaller providers who do not provide support via the phone and only via emails as they tend to take hours to respond the one has been efficient and prompt in all queries I have had. Yes they aren't that big in terms of name in comparison to other Internet providers but I can promise you that they do indeed live up to the high expectations of bigger name providers. Been with them for two payment cycles now and couldn't be happier.

We recently signed up with The One and it’s been a total step change. I am so grateful for all the help and advice they gave me and for their patience with my limited knowledge in this area. So refreshing to be able to speak to someone who could talk me though the entire process and the engineer was very accommodating. I am now paying a fraction of what I was paying before and getting much better speeds. I would highly recommend this company to anyone because working and playing from home has never been easier.

I was a bit nervous about moving to full fibre. But it was easy to switch and install. Would strongly recommend. I work from home and it’s made the world of difference.

If I could rate this review as zero, I would. Diabolical company, customer service is unbelievably bad. They won’t give you any information to let you use your own third-party router and even when they do under extreme duress they then restrict it so that you can’t. Kept telling me everything was my fault when it was actually they hadn’t done anything right on the configuration side of things. Also, they don’t see anything wrong with you paying for a 2.3 GB package but provide a router which only has a 1 GB output so you get less than half of what you’re paying for. I was actually told that I’m unique and everyone else is happy to have a router that only gives them half of what they arepaying for and I was just being fussy. They say they have a telephone customer service but you only ever get through to reception 90% of the time and them you have to wait hours for a call back which defeats the object of having telephone service plus they don’t work weekends so God forbid anything goes wrong on a Friday night because you’re stuck all weekend with nothing working. I was only with them for a very short time thank God and I would never go back to that company in my life. Why pay £60 a month for a hardwired download speed on average of 800 - 900mb. Avoid like the plague if you have any sense
