Reserved a table over the phone for a long awaited catch up with friends. We all enjoyed the food which arrived piping hot and didnt have to wait for hours. Definitely value for money on food and drink. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The pub has an oldy worldy cosy vibe with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. All in all a great experience and would absolutely recommend. Dog friendly helps too!

Stopped by the Old Packet House for food and drinks with the family. The service was excellent and the food and drink were top-notch. Can't praise it enough and best of all it doesnt break the bank. All of this is wrapped up in a traditional pub setting and cosy fire on a cold day. Would highly recommend a trip down there if you are looking for a great meal out and/or some drinks.

The old packet house is a warm, cosy pub. The real fires give the pub such an amazing atmosphere and the friendly staff can't do enough for you. The food is out of this world, from the homemade pies to the burgers you won't be disappointed. Sharing platters to light lunches, there's something for everybody to enjoy! My favourite has to be the homemade hunters chicken 😋 now they have the early bird 2! I'll definitely be going back very soon!
