I can't express enough how grateful I am for my recent hair transplant experience with Dr Khalil at the Tajmeel clinic in Bournemouth. After years of putting it off and embracing the ‘shaven head look’, I finally decided to take the plunge and undergo a hair transplant procedure and what better way to do it than to carry out the process right where I live! From the moment I walked into the clinic, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. Dr Khalil made me feel comfortable and assured me that I was in good hands. He took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and answer all of my questions, which instantly put my mind at ease. The transplant itself went smoother than expected and was a very interesting process from start to finish! The extraction and implantation were both carried out on the same day by Dr Khalil with a slight break in between each phase. Dr Khalil uses a relatively new transplanting device when implanting the new hairs that have many needles in a set-up that resembles cartridges in a revolver, this is so that his assistants can pre-load the hair grafts into the device ready for the Doctor to use. Not only does this save time but allows each person to fully focus on their role in the process. For my treatment, I decided to resolve the issue with the receding fringe and temples which the Doctor explained would need around 2000 grafts. Dr Khalil explained that he charges for the treatment area and the creation of a look that will make the customer happy (While being mindful of managing and maintaining the amount taken from the donor area allowing for further treatments if needed later down the line i.e. crown). In the first week post-procedure, I had only experienced a little discomfort and had minimal swelling compared to what I had seen from others online. Week two and three I was finally scab-free and began to see a healthy hairline which instantly boosted my confidence! I am now one month post-procedure and am in the “shock loss” stage of the process, meaning that around 60-70% of the transplanted hairs have fallen out (which is to be expected following a hair transplant). Further to this, my donor area looks like it had never been extracted from meaning there are no visible gaps between the regrown hairs. I have just received the included plasma injections by Dr Khalil to help promote hair restoration and growth and have been reassured that another few months down the line, my hair will begin to grow thick and healthy as per the intended look. Now, I am aware that there are some fantastic transplant doctors in Turkey and I will not scrutinise people who choose to have their hair transplant done over there but having the level of professionalism and aftercare available in the UK with a qualified and experienced doctor gives me more confidence to the point where I would sing his praise. If anyone in the UK is thinking about getting a hair transplant, I would recommend Dr Khalil at the Tajmeel clinic in Bournemouth!

I had my hair transplant with Dr Khalil in April 2023, I was originally going to go to Turkey, but I am so glad I didn't, yes it would of been slightly cheaper, but not a massive amount and I was keen to have the aftercare on my doorstep here in Bournemouth, any questions I had or problems, not that there has been any anyway, but it is nice to know he is only a 10 minute drive away from me. It is also good to keep up with the PRP injections, plasma injections, I recommend having these a couple of times a year to keep the follicles strong and healthy and it prolongs the healthy hair that is there. I cannot recommend Dr Khalil enough, lovely man, his wife is also very friendly and chatty during the procedure.

A friendly and relaxed clinic while still remaining very professional. Easy to communicate with and flexible on appointments. Results have been amazing but you have to be patient. I was disappointed after the first six months, by the time 10 months had gone by I was more than happy.

I saw Dr Khalil for a consultation about a hair transplant and he explained the process of what would happen on the day and also the recovery time after the surgery, he was happy to answer all questions I had and was always at had via email/message whatever time of the day if I had any queries. I am 6 months+ surgery and happy with results so far. I will continue to use Dr Khalil for PRP in the future . My experience at Tajmeel Clinic for a hair transplant has been nothing short of brilliant. Dr Khalil is a well versed professional in the field and came highly recommend to me by a friend. During my hair transplant the nurses and Dr Khalil were really friendly and explained the procedure and process with great detail. It has now been over a year since my hair transplant and roughly had 1000 grafts added to the affected area which was predominantly my hairline and sides area.
