Working with Studio Vans has been a superb experience and one I cannot recommend enough! From the very start, the team were incredible helpful and receptive to my ideas and plans I had for the van refurb. Being able to create and bounce ideas between myself and the team was essential for a great outcome. I had come to Studio Vans as the interior of my 1979 VW T2 camper was after some much TLC, but I wanted to retain as much of the original character of a classic T2 van as possible. The team met all my needs and more! They created unique bespoke cabinets with retro floral details, made from recycled plastic that had washed onto the shores of Isle of Barra (where my business is), and fitted new cork flooring. Everything was completed with a beautiful and sustainable touch – what Studio Vans does best! I would like to say a huge thank you to Rob, Fin, Ronnie and team!

Studio Vans are a really friendly and knowledgeable team, based on the beautiful island of Benbecula in the Outer Hebrides ..the Western Isles of Scotland.. They went above and beyond to translate my campervan dreams into a reality - my VW T5 is now complete with a flexible and beautifully comfortable internal space to my particular specifications . The materials are all natural, sustainable and recycled wherever possible - sheep wool insulation, recycled beach plastic surfaces, recycled fabric upholstery, aluminium framework and linen storage bags. The foam material for the bunks ( which are seats during the day ) is as comfortable as any bed anywhere. It was a full custom-build as part of the 'Studio Founders' series and they added offgrid essentials such as a solar panel and fittings for a diesel cooker and heater (and suppled a Portepotty free of charge).. I highly recommend Studio Vans to anyone looking for something special and exactly as you have in mind. Even if you live far away from these beautiful islands it is very well worth bringing a van up here for their conversion - then you will be able to explore the islands in perfect comfort when you come back to collect it a few weeks later!
