We switched from Harbortouch to SkyTab after our rep said that it was a much better system. The only difference is that the old Harbortouch would get bogged down with the memory getting full. SkyTab is iCloud based, so that problem went away. The problems with SkyTab are many. We have spent many hours on the phone with support trying to work through them, but it has turned out to be like pulling a loose thread on a sweater. All in all, we have literally spent at least 20 hours in total with support with most of happening when problems arose during business hours. Try dealing with that when you're slammed. The problems are too numerous to mention and it's all been made worse by our rep who has repeatedly told us that they would be sending out a tech to help resolve our problems. Currently shopping for a new system.
I changed my pos to Skytab for more updates and better customers service. Mr Scott sawicki is always there for us. I have two locations with them very good customer support.thanks Scott.

I wouldn't recommend SkyTab to an Enemy! Installers are clueless and system is more down than up. Poor customer service.

The customer service was great! the follow up was amazing. the pos system was easy to use and very easy to train my employees. Only issues was some updates needed on some of the online features.

The fact that David (the tech) sat here for 12 hours an helped us with every little question is crazy to me. You don’t get service like this anywhere. Easy to use, several ways to pay, easiest system I’ve ever used
In training No follow up
We upgraded from their Harbortouch system which did everything we needed. The new Skytab version is the worst system I've ever used and the only one where the conversion was a big step backward. Skytab is missing critical reports such as item sales by server and they've promised for months to make it available. We still have our old location ID and everything we need is in Harbortouch but not in Skytab. The new terminals they provided are constantly rejecting credit cards so we have to restart or call support. Skytab has a customer loyalty program that makes absolutely no sense and they advise to just make manual adjustments to point totals but even then even though there are unlimited discount amount options but you can only use one. Today the financial overview report was changed and there is nowhere on the report where you can see total credit card sales so you can't balance your day with it. The whole system is like a beta test version.
Our installation and setup was great. Dave and his team made the process very easy. Any questions we had they were right there to walk us through every step. When asking a question, they walked us through how to fix things instead of just doing it.
Overall launch with Shift4 was flawless. I waiting years to switch due to the worry of the headache it could’ve cause. If you’re on the fence, go for it! SkyTab is awesome!
Excellent system for our restaurant. Ease of use and availability of staff during the install and training has been absolute incredible. Glad our owner went with SkyTab. As a manager, many of my processes have been streamlined and service on the floor can absolutely be expected to pick up pace for our customers.

SkyTab is a great POS system! Dave was so helpful in helping us set it up and getting it up and running. The system is super stream lined and so easy to maneuver. Can’t recommend it enough!
After looking through all the options for our restaurant software we decided to go with Skytab. All platforms seemed to offer similar functions but Skytab stood out with customer service. Jasmyn has been amazing through the entire process. She not pushy and helped guide us through the entire process. They also come to you and set everything up as well. Highly recommend.
