We used Simple Fuel Solutions via the Fuel Hero website. Whilst the service is efficient and they attended quicker than the 1.5 hour wait time they advised us, we were surprised and disappointed to be charged £160 which is more than we were told on the initial phone call and a lot more than their advertised “from” figure of £120. As the car was still at the petrol station all that was required was a fuel drain. The service they provide is good (and essential) but I would prefer them to have clear and precise pricing on their website to avoid such shock.
Can't thank Jamie enough for what he did for me when I put water in my diesel tank in my campervan ...I really was stressed to the max ...just the right person to turn up went above and beyond to fix the mess thanks ...
I would have given you 5 stars,but for the time I had to wait after been given a slot of half an hour, it turned into 3 hours,the 1 that was supposed to help me was diverted to another job and I had to wait on 1 from Falkirk. But to be fair when he arrived he did a first class job in getting me back on the road.

Simple Fuel Solutions Simple’s Fantastic When my partner arrived and realised she had put petrol in instead of diesel and drove 500 yards stopped and tried to start then stopped we panicked Called SFS explaining the situation on the phone and found the conversation very helpful and supportive explaining the procedure very clearly Wjthin 30 min they had arrived and another 20 min finished cleaned up and away First Class response and first class solution
Unbelievable…how could I have put petrol in my diesel car? I had thought the fuel nozzles were designed to be incompatible so it would be apparent one was on the brink of an act of basic stupidity: but no, the forecourt had been busy & the first option was to fill up at a pump on the wrong side and stretch the long hose over the top to use it virtually upside down. Anyway the act of folly was committed & Tom from Simply Fuels sent for via the AA. He was there within the hour, no fuss, no judgment, sorted out the problem, advised on next steps and off he went. Efficient, polite and discreet - apart from the livery on his vehicle which kind of gives away what the cringing customer has just perpetrated! Good work, Tom.

After a huge rushed mistake putting diesel into my petrol car, I broke down shortly after on the by-pass. I called Simple Fuel Solutions Limited whom came to my rescue very efficiently. The car was drained and filled with super unleaded, everything was cleaned & I haven’t had any problems at all since. Great service, recommend to anyone who has made the same mistake I did & needs a quick, quality recovery fuel drain service.
