Have just received my parashade. I have large rub marks on 2 corners of the base and a dent on the main post with a sharp edge. For what I paid I expected my parashade to be delivered in perfect condition

The umbrella itself is awesome and worthy of at least a 4 star rating. What let it down was the assembly instructions. They were vague at best. After several hours of head scratching I figured out I had to unbolt the base (the part from the foot pedal) from the mast. The instructions didn't mention this, nor did it explain how to unbolt it. Once I figured it out, it was easy. I did reach out to Shade Australia for help, and they were very responsive. Not particularly helpful though because they just resent the poor instructions that were included in the box.

Great company to deal with, prompt delivery, and a very good quality product.
The umbrella is stylish and functions well when open. Being portable is very useful. It was delivered quickly and efficiently. The shade doesn’t have any pulley mechanism to open it ( which aids in its stylish appearance) so you need to open it manually. This is fine if you are over 180cm tall. However I have to stand on chairs to open and close it. The company is working with me to make it easier. Also note that the weights for the base are not included - you have to buy them from Bunnings before putting it together. This reduces transport costs but you need to be aware.
The Shade Australia umbrella cover is sturdy & fully weather proofed. The rod makes for easy installation. Delivery was prompt & efficient. An excellent product.

This is the second order in 5 years for the Shelta umbrella. The product is really fantastic and reasonably priced. I ordered it on a Friday evening, it arrived on the following Tuesday.. can't fault the service, I will be back.
