Ever heard of DWR? Durable Water Repellent, is a treatment that encourages water to bead up and roll over the surface of the fabric and keeps the fabric stain proof for a short while. Having our customers at heart and being so closely related to water or should we say avoiding it, we launched our first collection of DWR treated Sneakers and Trainers in 2020. So now you can walk in the rain or jump into a puddle of water without being worried about your feet getting wet and our DWR treatment also keeps your white sneakers white for a little bit longer, even at a summer festival. We all know that our planet is creaking, and we need to act now, for a better tomorrow. Really good service, pleased with Wellies so far but insole in right foot keeps slipping backwards
Walkabout boots NOT as advertised. Leaking after about 30 days wear. NOT DURABLE. Contacted CS and was told I would get a replacement only to be emailed day after saying no replacement and to go to local coblers to get mended.
Had to contact customer service as a fault developed in the sole of left boot. Was replaced very quickly and simply. However replacement boots seem a lot wider than previous pair also somebody has decided it would be a good idea to make the gusset clips half the size. As I haven't got tree trunk legs and as previously stated the tops seem much wider, it makes them much harder to close the gusset clips. I assume this is a money saving excercise which has not improved the boot. These are also a very heavy boot, much heavier than the Seeland Noble Gusset they were bought to replace. All in all a good boot that has been better.
Have purchased several pairs of wellies over the years from Rockfish and all have been fine until this last pair of 'Walkabouts'. Purchased in April 2022 and split in March 2023. Tried repairing them with Stormsure but the tear kept on getting bigger. Have now ordered a pair of Hoggs to see if they are any better.
Second time lucky! The first parcel got delayed and returned to sender as reportedly damaged in transit but the replacement pair arrived very swiftly and have already done a four-mile ramble. Very comfortable, light and a nice slim fit.
These are my second pair of Rockfish Wellies and they have been excellent. Hardwearing and very comfortable and great selection of colours
