I had a great experience taking driving lessons with Rijschool OMW. Aliyar, the instructor, speaks a very good English and is native in Dutch. This makes him an ideal choice for expats and internationals who seek English-speaking lessons. The teaching quality is high and the tips and advices given by the instructor will be 100% helpful for you during the practical exam. I happily recommend Rijschool OMW to anyone looking for taking the driving exam in the Netherlands.

Allereerst wil ik zeggen hoe aardig en respectvol de instructeur van deze rijschool is. Hij is zeer professioneel in zijn aanpak en weet precies hoe hij de leerlingen moet begeleiden om ze tot een succesvolle bestuurder te maken. Bovendien is Driving School Rotterdam omw erg goed georganiseerd en flexibel in het plannen van rijlessen. Het is gemakkelijk om online afspraken te maken. Het is ook fijn dat je de les kan inplannen op tijdstippen die voor jou het beste uitkomen. Hij heeft ook heel snel een examen voor me kunnen inplannen. Tot slot wil ik nogmaals bedankt zeggen voor de gezellige rijlessen. Als je op zoek bent naar een goede rijschool in Rotterdam, dan is Driving School Rotterdam omw zeker een aanrader.

Het wordt niet veel beter dan dit. In een keer slagen is erg moeilijk, vooral in Rotterdam. Buiten het feit dat de lessen buitengewoon gezellig waren, was het manier van uitleggen erg leer vriendelijk. Rijschool OMW zorgt ervoor dat je met zelfvertrouwen een examen ingaat. Zoals ik zei, beter dan dit wordt het niet.

Not professional, rude and disrespectful We have started the classes August 2022. The teacher rushed me into doing my theory exam. I gave the exam (it is valid only for a limited time) in October 2022. After around 52 lessons (in mid January 2023), he told me that if I perform well in that lesson, he can book an exam for me for the next week. Then, every time, he came up with excuses that I am not ready. So, we continued with the lessons but it became not useful. I communicated this with him in my 58th lesson (end of February 2023) and I told him that I want a plan and structure. I don’t have a limitless budget to continue classes indefinitely. When I communicated my concerns, I felt he became angry and aggressive about it. He told me that we should not continue with the lessons anymore, claiming that I don’t like his teaching style. I felt unsafe to continue with him anyway. So we stopped classes. Today, I learned from a different driving school that you cannot book a practical exam directly, since CBR is usually booked fully. So you need to book the practical before several months. So, I spent 7 months with Rijschool OMW and effectively got kicked out before getting an opportunity to give the exam. Note that, the school is also not too cheap compared to other driving schools in Rotterdam. I don’t usually write comments on Google but I was shocked with my experience.

I had tried out two other driving schools in Rotterdam before I came across Aliyar, who proved to be an incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive instructor. He even managed to book my exam for an incredibly soon date, which I passed on my first try! I would highly recommend OMW Driving School.

Beste rijschool! Ik ben in 1x geslaagd. Ik raad idereen aan om bij deze rijschool te gaan lessen. Hele aardige en begripvolle rijinstructeur.

Vandaag geslaagd voor me rijbewijs in 1 keer!!! Dit was toch wel het kerst cadeau waar ik op hoopte en dat ik hem toch zo makkelijk heb mogen binnen halen komt toch wel 100% door rijschool omw altijd al heel flexibel geweest en altijd met veel geduld geholpen om nog beter te worden. Elk straatje en bocht van het cbr Rotterdam die kent hij dus je weet bij je examen precies waar je wel niet rekening mee moet houden. Dankjewel rijschool omw!!!

Ali is a fantastic teacher! I've tried for years with other driving instructors and finally with Ali I found a person who really understands how to coach! Focusing on the exam from day 1 Ali got me every step of the way, building up my confidence and getting me the pass!

Hele fijne rij-instructeur. Manier van lesgeven is heel professioneel en voelde me snel op mijn gemak tijdens het rijden. Maakt gebruik van opbouwende kritiek, straalt rust uit en we konden altijd wel een leuk praatje houden tijdens de lessen. Heb samen met jou hulp mijn rijbewijs in 1 keer gehaald, deze rijschool is dus zeker een aanrader. Heel erg bedankt voor alles zonder jou expertise had ik dit niet gekund!!

An amazing instructor! From my first class, Ali has always supported me and my driving, and given me effective driving tips that was so useful in handling difficult situations. He is always in a good mood and that also makes driving lessons with him so fun. He keeps track of your progress each lesson so you know the things you need to work on and it was nice to see improvements every week. Aside from driving tips, he also encouraged me mentally and to never give up during the driving exam. I would not have passed my exam on the first try so easily if it weren't for his coaching. I've had several driving instructors in Rotterdam, but Ali is by far the best.

As someone who has driven before in a more chaotic environment, Ali was able to recognize the changes needed to conform to the Dutch roads and gear his teaching in a way that suits the you. He was very patient and persistent and made me feel comfortable and confident up until the exam itself. I seriously doubt that I would have been able to pass my exam on the first go with a different school. Strongly recommend OMW Driving school especially one that can easily do so bilingually and with a lot of patience! :)

Ali is een leuke en betrokken leraar. Gaat echt voor zijn leerlingen! Neemt daarbij verantwoorde beslissingen. Absoluut een aanrader!!

Mijn eerste examen bij OMW direct geslaagd! Nadat ik drie keer was gezakt bij een andere rijschool ben ik bij OMW gaan lessen. Aliyar heeft me écht leren rijden… Hij ziet direct waar je verbeterpunten liggen en geeft deze op een fijne, duidelijke manier aan. Hij zorgt voor een gezellige sfeer in de auto, zodat iedere les leuk is. Zoek je een rijschool? Kijk dan niet verder en kies voor OMW

Ik kan rijschool omw erg aanbevelen! Aliyar is een fijne instructeur die rustig en duidelijk uitlegd. Hij gedraagd zich erg professioneel maar is ook gezellig om een praatje mee te maken. Er hangt een ontspannen sfeer tijdens het rijden. Ik heb nooit het idee gehad dat hij tijd aan het rekken was of me onnodige uren liet maken. Ik ben in 1 keer geslaagd, dus zeer tevreden!

I had a really positive experience taking lessons with Aliyar from OMW. He is a really patient, methodical, and organized instructor. His style of guidance and feedback is quite constructive and I found it really helpful in improving my driving in the Netherlands. Would definitely recommend taking lessons with OMW.

KIES VOOR OMW rijschool! Aliyar neemt echt de tijd en legt alles goed uit, daarnaast is het ook heel gezellig om met hem te rijden. Ik heb mijn theorie en praktijk in 1x gehaald en dat heb ik zeker aan hem te danken. Dankjewel!
