This is a great idea because it gives younger children, who are watching their older siblings using Ebay or DePop to sell things, a safe, friendly and age-appropriate alternative. There are lots of security features and checks when you sign up at the beginning which takes a while, but to be honest it is worth it as you are letting 8 and 9 year olds experiment with online selling so it needs to be properly managed.
This is a fabulous user friendly forum for both kids and caregivers. My children love using the site and it is teaching them the value of both money and taking care of their things.
I have found this a great tool to get my kids to learn about money and what things are worth. They have had great fun getting rid of some of their unwanted toys and getting a bit of pocket money out of them to buy new ones. I was a little apprehensive at first about security, but there are lots of checks to ensure you can stay on top of what your kids are up to.
I feel very confident that my children are safe when they’re using QniQr. I like the fact there are no adverts and that they don’t share our data with anyone. The notification and approval settings are genius too as my children are quite young and want to sell everything. They have enabled us to have conversations about why we can or can’t sell certain items. They are also now really thinking about what they want to buy with their money, and learning about the value of things. Thank you QniQr. They are clearing out our playroom AND getting much needed financial education.
