The Sales person was excellent, the installation team came when they said they would and did a good job, though probably could have been a bit neater with the cleanup. The only real gripe I have is that I still haven't heard anything about the BER appointment and it's been almost 9 weeks since the installation was complete. If I was given a date, even several weeks out, that would be better than hearing nothing. Having installed the panels in the middle of winter we're not getting much of an impact on our electricity bills (a 10% reduction maybe - between 1 and 5kWh per day from the 12 PV panels). I'm sure it will start to pay for itself when we get into the Spring.

The installation guys did a nice job installing both the PV panels and the electrical installation. The system meets ~ 60% of my electrical consumption and I get paid for the excess I export to the grid in the summer months so great savings. Any query's I had were dealt with promptly by the customer support team so delighted overall.

I got numerous quotes for a PV installation and felt that PV gen were the company that made the best effort to explain the installation in person and had a great break down of the prices for different size systems. They also sent an initial surveyor to give me a feel for what was possible followed by another surveyor to make sure the electrical status of the house was up to standard before installation. The office staff were great to deal with and set out a timeline which was exactly when the install occurred. The installation was immaculate and I am now enjoying the benefits of a PV installation. I have received my first bill where the PV has been active and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I generated and exported in the winter months. Looking forward to seeing its full potential in the new year!! Great company and definitely worthwhile talking to them if you’re planning a PV installation.

Panels installed over two years ago and have not worked for any length of time. A faulty unit was installed in electrical box and was replaced soon after initial installation. The system is still not working and this has been the case from day one. Have been making contact over the last two years and they keep passing the book. Have been using as much fuel as always so this has been a complete waste of time and money installing them. This is surprising considering the salesman telling us about how exceptional the system was going to be. Have regretted this purchase since the day of installation.

From start to finish the service we received from PV Gen was excellent, beginning with Stephen Healy who called here to explain the process. Stephen handled all the paperwork and then the installers arrived and they were both friendly and professional. We got an additional 8 panels this year and again the the service we received was second to none.

Our journey to solar was made very easy from start to finish. Mark visited our house and explained the system in detail and the process of installation. The installation team were very professional and had the job completed within the day. The system is producing our normal daytime needs even though we are in December. I had a 10 panel system installed yesterday. I am very happy with the service received from PVGen at all stages. Initial contact was followed up efficiently. During the rep’s visit the process was thoroughly explained. Costing was transparent. The timing of each stage was made clear - and in reality things happened as promised. Installation was efficient and followed by a very clear handover. Big thank you to all involved.

The installation teams were incredibly efficient in how they worked. The very friendly crew showed us how to work everything between the app and the controls. Any time we've been in contact with PV Generation they've been friendly and helpful. We feel a lot better about our energy use in the home and we're making a lot of savings!

We installed solar panels in May 2023, which were supplied by PV Generation. The initial consultation was with Mark, who explained professionally in detail the various options available to us. We liked the fact it was not a hard sell, and we had time to think it over, with Mark always available to respond to any further questions we had. Following the purchase and survey we were contacted by the design team, who supplied a detailed cad drawing of the proposed installation. Again Kevin was very helpful in the follow up calls. On the installation date, Thomas and the PV team installed the system in 6 hours. To date we have had no issues with the system, and Nathalie and the team in Monaghan continue to provide support and updates, as they did during the pre installation phase. The system itself is performing very well, with significant savings in electricity consumption. Overall I would have no hesitation in recommending PV Generation.

In mid June 23, PV Generation following their good advice, installed a 4kw system with 10 Sunpower panels secured on our roof. The roof faces due South in the D15 area. Since then we have produced near 2Mwh of power used with over 60 per cent of this sent to the grid and the remaining used in the house including for hot water. The savings are considerable with payback well underway. The install was quick and generally without fuss or worry. The system operates on its own and can be monitored from anywhere with the App provided. The panels also assist us to economise on our power requirements during the day. For example bright times mean free power for various appliances. Yes ireland can be dull but there is always a bit of power being produced which takes care of the fridge or charging a mobile for example. It all helps and creates credit on o our bills. It is an education for the kids. Can I add that the back up and friendly support provided by the PV Generation is always available and are ready to assist. Once a customer always a customer says Natasha in Customer Care. Another advantage is that our house gained in its BER rating from C1 to almost a B2 rating. The BER cert is all part of the Service which is explained clearly from day one by PV Generation. There is no disadvantage really. The Sunpower panels although more expensive than others are neater, more aesthetic and designed to last longer on the roof which is the reason why we went with PV Generation Written by a Chartered Civil Engineer

I started researching solar panels at the start of the summer 2023 and got quotes from a few different companies. We got varying reports suggesting that our roof would only accommodate between 10 and 12 panels when I thought we could accommodate up to 16. PV Gen sent out Mark McKeever who spent approx 2 hours with us going through the full ins and outs of the system in great detail. He was confident we could get the 16 panels and maybe more but said a site survey by one of the engineers would confirm. Within two weeks a site engineer called and confirmed that we would be able to get 18 panels on the roof. He then sent on a virtual plan of the roof and ran everything by us first to make sure we would be happy with the layout of the panels. Installation was then scheduled and within 2 weeks we had the panels installed and electrician had called to connect all up to inverter. The BER rating was done a short time after this and we were happy to see our rating improve. The whole process was seamless and Natasha Mulhall from the PV Gen office was in regular contact to give us updates on each step of the process. Our esb bill for August 2023 was approx €460 and this coincided with our installation. So the next bimonthly bill would give us a good understanding of where we'd be at with the panels. Our next esb bill in October 2023 was for €70.00. A very good reduction considering that it was still into Autumn when our panels were installed and the days were shorter than they would be in high summer. I'm really looking forward to seeing how we do next year with the panels. All in all I'm very happy with our experience so far with PV Generation and I would be very happy to recommend them.

We contacted PV Generation in early October from Mark arriving on site to Natasha in customer care everything went smoothly.Engineers arrived on site Monday 8.30 AM installed 18 solar panels electrical and paper work complete and off site by 12 noon all up and running unbelievable team work.
