I was not satisfied with services that I received. I paid for the CV, cover letter and LinkedIn profile upgradation. The writer who contacted me took almost a month to complete all the three services and the product I received at the end was not of good quality. It looked very generic and basic and the CV was not able to pass through the ATS of any of the companies that I have applied. It definitely feels like a waste of time and money. I apologise on giving such harsh comments but I was expecting a quality service for the money I paid. Hopefully you would put more effort in helping the next candidate. Update: Thank you Kirsty from Purple CV for reaching out to me immediately to discuss about the issues that I have faced with the CV and taking the initiative to redo the entire process from the beginning. Thank you for your prompt action and I am looking forward to the process. Update 01/10/2024: I have now received an updated and really good CV and cover letter. To be honest, I am extremely unsatisfied with the service I received. I paid for a Director-level CV, including LinkedIn optimisation, and yet the final product fell well short of expectations. Firstly, the quality of the wording in the CV was poor, with some sections feeling lazy and generic. I had to make several changes myself, which defeats the purpose of paying for a professional service. Secondly, there was an error in the version I initially received, and the wording was wrong. I had to request a correction, which delayed the process further. For a premium service, this level of carelessness is simply unacceptable. What’s most concerning is that I’ve actually had better traction with my old CV than with this new version, which calls into question the value of the service provided. I expected a professional, polished product but instead feel as though I’ve wasted both time and money. I would appreciate your feedback on this matter and a resolution to ensure this kind of experience doesn’t happen to other clients.

I genuinely had a phenomenal experience working with Tuli at the Purple CV. My CV was completely revamped in terms of content, structure and the outlook. Creating a concise version is always challenging but she did a great job. Also, the customer service was phenomenal, from an initial discount from the purple CV to creating multiple iterations of the CV patiently stood out for me. Definitely a great partnership.

I had approached a CV company I have used for many years and they did not respond. I decided to try Purple CV instead. I enquired about the CV packages and a member of staff called me quickly. I was at a stage of my career in which I wanted to elevate my profile and apply for new positions that require more responsibilities and management. I was looking for support to do so and Georgina did a great job. She was very much available and responsive all the time. I provided an initial version of my CV in which I did some work in compiling all my relevant achievements and expertise and she gave it a new look and a new meaning to all my work, really elevating my profile. Also the cover letter sounded very compelling and very nice when reading it. We needed to work together to shape both the documents to the perfection with me providing some more inputs on my goals and the specific job position I wanted to apply. Georgina has been very helpful and supportive all time and the final result was impressive. I have been very glad to have engaged with her and PurpleCV, despite some initial hiccup with Paypal payments that did not work. I appreciated how this problem was immediately addressed by Kirsty who reached out to me by phone to deeply understand the situation and ensure me on the quality of the company and the service. This was very reassuring and allowed me to engage even better with PurpleCV. I'm rating 4 stars because I would like to encourage the writers to still improve their service when comes to make the CV perfectly clean with all the text perfectly aligned, deeply review the text of the cover letter to consolidate concepts at their best, and provide their expert opinion on how concepts should be expressed, not only executing what suggested by the client. I reckon I needed to flag few, to me obvious, things that needed to be looking better in the CV and cover letter files, and I would have appreciated some more opinion exchange in questions I have asked during the process. Nevertheless I had a very good experience and I would suggest PurpleCV to friends and colleagues, plus using their service myself if I'll need it again in the future.

I was looking to change my career but didn’t really know what direction I wanted to go in. Thankfully through their careers advice sessions with Jane I was able to right job roles that would be right for me. I’d never written a CV before but Louis wrote a comprehensive and well detailed CV for me. The service was quick and professional and I highly recommend.

I had high hopes when I invested £100 for a CV, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile optimization guide from this service. Unfortunately, the results fell short of my expectations. Upon comparing the CV they provided with my original version using online CV checkers and consulting with LinkedIn professionals, I found that my self-written CV actually performed better. The cover letter also didn't meet my needs, and the LinkedIn guide offered little beyond instructions for transferring CV content to a LinkedIn profile. I was disappointed when, immediately after delivery, I was prompted to leave a positive Trustpilot review in exchange for additional recruitment tips. I declined this offer as I wasn't confident in the effectiveness of the materials I had received. When I attempted to address my concerns by sharing CV scoring results with my assigned writer, I didn't receive a response. This lack of follow-up added to my overall dissatisfaction with the service. While I'm sure the company has satisfied other customers, my personal experience unfortunately did not align with the quality I had anticipated for the price paid.

Complete rip off and scam! All they do is run your existing CV through Chat GPT or a similar tool to reword your current CV. This also takes longer than the advertised 2 days. They don’t offer a refund after complaining to customer services. Don’t waste your money on this, rather spend some time and research how to write a good CV, you anyways need to tell your writer what and how to write.
