Pure Roasters Coffee - Ethical Scottish Coffee Based in Glasgow we focus on coffee which has no bitter aftertaste. We only use coffee with high cupping scores. We provide coffee subscriptions, trade accounts and we release micro-batches of our pioneering cask aged coffee range.
Mad Wae It really is the best coffee I have tried, all the range is good but that is my favourite. Love getting my subscription every month. Happy to support such a hard working, ethical and high quality small business 👍
I have been drinking your coffee for some time now, having met you at a Farmers Market. There are four coffee drinkers in the house, some of us working from home, so we get through a lot. I order 1 kilo bags of beans on line and always have 3 different types on the go, so we can select one to suit the mood/time of day. Bolt wakes me up in the morning, and during the day I enjoy Renton, Mad Wae It or Heavy Goff. Ordering is easy, and delivery via Royal Mail usually reliable.
Missed out on "Yer Aul Dad" first time round, seemed to catch it on the rebound :) So glad I did, as much as I love Heavy Goff, Renton etc, this one took it up a level imo. Won't miss out next time (hopefully there'll be one).
I started a subscription with Pure Roasters a couple of years ago. The coffee beans are of a high quality and at a reasonable price. It is nice to get a different bag sent every month - you never know what it’s going to be! I haven’t had much dealing with the owners as everything has been pretty much problem free but the communication I have had from them has been pleasant and efficient. I do recommend Pure Roasters to anyone I know looking for good coffee. I also feel quite lucky to have such a great local business to support.
Fantastic coffee! Received as a gift for my birthday one year and have then gifted back twice to friends since. Great coffee names, branding is well done, speedy customer service - can’t complain. I would highly recommend, thanks :)
First discovered this amazing coffee at a local market. Great choice of coffees, well priced. Good product knowledge and friendly service. Bought more online, which arrived well packaged and quickly.
Bought some of your coffees at the Ideal Home show in Glasgow and have since bought on line. I thought the Heavy Goff might be too strong but can say its the best coffee I have ever tried.
Have tried the full gambit of coffees that different intelligent and well-dressed artisanal coffee roasters of the West of Scotland have to offer - and these guys might be producing the best. The Heavy Goff and The Renton are magic, as was a ltd edition whisky barrel coffee. Good to also support a small independent business producing quality and outward-looking stuff that is based in West Dunbartonshire - a rarity right now but hopefully others follow the Roasters' suit!
i am very fussy with coffee selecton, came across this coffee company whilst visiting a local sunday market. This coffee is the best i have tasted and works amazing with my re usable pods i use i my Nespresso machine. will not be buying my coffee from anyone else other than this company.
Ordered a mixed pack of beans to try and it is truly brilliant coffee, Heavy Goff is my favourite of the bunch. The folk who run it are lovely and are more than happy to take time to recommend you a coffee that would be suited to you!
Bought some pure roasters coffee beans at the paisley food and drink festival. I got great advice from Rab and Don o what type would be best for me. Well now I've just had my first cup of "The Renton" man I feel like this is first cup of coffee I've ever had and rest have been coffee flavoured p!ss water. "The Renton" is sooo good man
We are addicted now to Heavy Goff and Mad Wae it. Our lockdown tipples. Great coffee and superb service. Thank you.
We have a monthly subscription for ground coffee and what a delight when it arrives! The various coffee blends are wonderful - so aromatic. Well packaged too. I'm doing my Christmas shopping there this year as they have some lovely gifts.
Having tried many sellers, Roasters beans are the smellers, Rich, handsome, dark and tasty, This is the coffee you willny wastey
Ordered a few choice blends and was accidentally sent ground instead of whole beans. Pure roasters solved my problem immediately and even gave me a wee coaster and a discount code as an apology as well as getting the beans to me. Fantastic service, great coffee and all around great company.
Found these guys after asking friends on Facebook for good coffee recommendations at the start of lockdown, I initially ordered a selection of the core range and was really impressed with them all. A year later I'm a monthly subscriber getting 2kg per month of fresh beans. As well as the coffee being amazing (miles better than any other local coffee I've tried in Glasgow) the guys who run the business are great craic and provided some much needed light relief with their Facebook live chats throughout lockdown. For such a wee business they're already doing amazingly and I recommend them to anyone looking for some tasty and ethical coffee. Cheers lads!
I have recently used this company for staff recognition gifts in SSE Renewables with a large order, Robert and the team have been incredibly helpful and a pleasure to correspond with. Robert came up with ideas on how to make the packages more personal and accommodate everyone’s likes / dislikes with alternative options. We had previously used Pure Roasters for a similar order and the packages were amazing, the coffee is next level. Would highly recommend for bulk orders and also for a gift for a friend! Thanks again
I very very much dislike writing negative reviews for small, local businesses, especially in this current climate. And although their coffee is very very good, I've had issues with almost every order I have received from them. I have ordered 4 times with them now: 1st time: Order "went missing" in the mail and it took 1.5 months for me to receive my replacement order. 2nd time: Order received fine and on time. 3rd time: Order "went missing"in the mail again and took around another month or so to receive replacement. 4th time: Order received on time, but was wrong order and instead received whole beans when i specified ground. I completely understand that things can sometimes go wrong, but just not when they happen this frequently. I wouldn't say to completely avoid this place as other reviewers have seem to have had no issues and I must've just had bad luck with them. It is a shame as I really enjoy their coffee, but from these experiences I don't think I will be ordering from them any longer.
Wow well I am over the moon with my delivery the products are amazing and shipping was very fast everything well wrapped only thing was I got sent the wrong pump but messaged them and they sent the right one out and got it the next day. I would highly recommend pure roast coffee company will definately be ordering again.
I've been signed up to their subscription service since 1st lockdown and its amazing, great price, amazing coffee and brilliant customer service. Can't recommend enough.
