All children are different and all parents have a different strategy as to the best way that they help their children get through their 11 plus papers. My children both went to a state primary and so had absolutely no teaching for 11 plus exams so we were on our own. Even though all the schools we applied for were not represented, just by starting at the beginning one year before and gradually just working through the papers one by one meant that I was able to help my children build up knowledge slowly. the answers were all super clear and detailed. i honestly do not know how i would have managed without this service. it really is excellent value for money and very good customer service.

I bought the exam paper from PiAcademy, it was good to let my son for practicing before the assessment. I was also buying the English Creative Writing, it would teach you how to write the story in proper format and showed you how to write a good story.

Discovering the Pi Academy resources has been a revelation for me and my son who is taking the 11+ and has taken out so much stress. My daughter was not very great with NVR at start of 11+ preparation Being a full time parent ,I was unable to give time for her 11+ prep especially with NVR After subscribing with pi academy 11+ NVR practice papers,my daughter started to attempt topics after topics and their test which was so helpful since it came with marking and detailed answers which made their concepts clear and NVR more enjoyable My daughter scored higher in NVR and achieved place in top 180 in bexley selective test,we have also used comprehension test papers and spag practice papers,brilliant resources! I was fortunate to have found PiAcademy. The set of papers are incredibly useful both for the child and for the parent who is attempting to guide their child through the maze of entrance exams. It is useful for both 11 plus and common entrance and scholarships. The great thing is that the papers range in difficulty and length so that the child is eased into it and learns how to go about answering the questions. Many independent schools publish their English papers and Maths papers without answers. It is hard to find details answers however these papers are accompanied by a very detailed explanation and sample answer which provides an insight into a good answer and how to maximise marks. It has tremendously helped with our DIY preparations. Additionally, my children have really enjoyed working through the material on their own, it's that good! 👍

I joined Piacademy for my 10 year older pretty late in December 2020 to prepare for QE entrance. Preeti gave us confidence that he can still do it and it’s not late. She guided us through the planning and identifying development areas. Their past papers module is excellent. An exceptionally good collection of materials for different exam types (CEM, GL etc) are on this site. I believe that these will be helpful for any particular exam type preparations like CEM based as is in my case or for general revision for keeping up to date with speed and also for regular revision of specific topics which my child is working to get better at. Their customer service via a chat box on the site is useful and they are prompt in clarifying queries and suggesting the right combination of materials. This purchase I think will be useful for my daughter. Thank you and will be happy to recommend to other parents and tutors.

I bought 11 plus diamond subscription for my daughter last year. It included maths, English papers as well VR, NVR and Independent/ grammar school Sets. We found the whole package very helpful and just renewed it again for another year. We also bought creative writing and SPAG. Papers are very high quality with detailed explanations, also clue for time to be taken for individual maths questions helped my daughter to be mindful of her speed. With creative writing it gives an example of good and bad answer which again made her think how her writing standard should be. We feel it’s really helping her with her 11 plus exam preparation.
