About PC Shack

PC Shack has been brought into existence to provide over the counter computer sales and service in Kingston-upon-Hull. Too many IT shops and providers simply want to sell your products quickly and wave you out of the door. Here at PC Shack, we offer a more personal touch with good old fashioned after sales service and sound advice. The story starts with Realtec Computing Ltd formed at the turn of the millennium to provide local businesses with dependable IT systems and support. Having resided in the Louis Pearlman for 10 years it was time to move on and up and so Realtec moved to the current premises on Witty St intending to open a trade counter so members of the public could bring items for repair and purchase systems and accessories. After 8 years on Witty St, Realtec has improved their business customer base and public facing trade. It transpires, however, that members of the public were not really aware that Realtec provided services to the man in the street so a rethink on the marketing side was required. PC Shack was chosen as the name and after much contemplation here we are with the finished product. We intend to build upon the PC Shack brand so watch this space for more news as it happens :-)

I just had a PC custom made for my daughter. It was a great experience from start to finish: very friendly and helpful, all communication was excellent, and the build was fast and absolutely perfect - with all her files copied over. I am delighted, and highly recommend PC Shack.

Took a computer to Currys for repair. After nearly 3 weeks including 2 weeks at the repair it was returned saying they could not fix. Took it to PC shack, repaired in 24hrs at an excellent price. Friendly and knowledgeable.

If Carlsberg did PC repairs and upgrades, they would go to PC Shack and they would probably receive the best service in the world!
