I've used parcel2ship twice now, once within mainland UK and once to have a package collected from Northern Island and brought to England. On both occasions I've been more than happy with Parcel2Ship's service, especially on the second occasion when I had to contact the company (via their live chat function, which is excellent to see in use). Not a problem with the company, merely that the courier they suggested (Parcel Force UK) listed Belfast as a location they *wouldn't* deliver to - but they will collect from the city. :s However, the Parcel2Ship adviser checked it all out for me and confirmed Parcel Force UK do collect from N.I. - excellent assistance. Going back to my first usage, again no complaints about Parcel2Ship, but the courier driver that time (CityLink) turned up in an unmarked van, whilst wearing a hi-viz vest labelled 'Veolia' (a waste disposal company!!) and carrying no collection receipts... Luckily, my parcel got to its intended destination just fine, and the CityLink failings are nothing to do with Parcel2Ship. Overall, recommended. The choice of couriers and prices available are good and very competitive. :)

Waited on all day for City Link to collect but they failed to turn up - this is the second, and last time, I will use them. I took it to the local depot the following morning.

I placed a booking with Parcel2ship for a collection the next day. The collection failed to take place. I contacted parcel2ship who took up the problem with the courier, 'city link'. Citylink said they had tried a collection, even fabricating a story about the type of door we have at the premises - of course this was a complete lie as well as inaccurate. The collection then took place 24 hours later, therefore missing the next day delivery which we had requested. When I contacted parcel2ship, the response was one of "we aren't responsible etc etc, its in the terms and conditions" - that may well be the case, that hidden deep in their extensive t&c's they mention this, but customers just make a booking under the assumption that when they pay for next day thats what happens! This wasn't the case. Of course, further contact has been 'brushed off' - customer service staff being totally unhelpful and showing a total disregard for the customer.

I have used Parcel2Ship to send bulky packages to France and also internally in the UK. The website is very easy to use, the prices extremely competitive, and the service fast and reliable.

The parcel I sent to Toronto was collected 24 hours later than we were told (with no explanation) and was delivered to a depot in Calgary some 2,000 miles away and took a lot of time and trouble to sort out. Parcel2Ship helped me obtain compensation, which took six weeks, but I would have preferred the parcel to have been collected at the time I expected and delivered to the correct consignee.

Have I just been lucky so far? I wrote a good 5star review but once I scrolled down the page and read the others I am horrified. Most of the items I send are high value, I don't think I'll risk them again after reading these reviews. ***Please see below***

They have lost the parcel and they are deny any responsibility, the staff is most unfriendly and an helpful, they just hang up the phone and refuse to deal with the situation. The manager was very rude and full of excuses that make no sense in relation to the situation. This cost me £150.00 in damages I was also promised a refund of the service that I have not received and this never materialised. I was told that the driver could not collect the parcel as there was a gate to enter the car park, this was not true as the pick up was in a hotel. The hotel confirmed collection however my parcel never reach destination.

Go on I dare you write FRAGILE on your parcel and wait..yes it will be broken on arrival and with no easy way to claim without spending hours online. Then book a parcel..and wait . And wait...yes wait..where are they? Two mornings wasted. Will my latest get there , will the fragile I wrote on be a waste of time? Let's see. Is that a good courier or are they all the same?
