I was a little uncertain about investing in solar initially but the team at p4 solar broke it down for me and helped me decide on what’s best. Friendly, professional company. After reaching out to a local community group we were invited to have look at a P4Solar installation. The existing customer spoke very highly of Peter And Freddie Maddocks and showed us the quality of the work carried out. After making contact the following day, Peter came round a few days later and gave us a very detailed explanation of how it all works, the benefits and how the aftercare works. He measured the roof area and exactly a week after making contact we had the quote. The quote was very competitive as we had already received several others. Estimated installation was prior to Christmas. Due to some logistical issue the exact panels earmarked for us would not be in the country until the New Year so we were offered a different panel with a mid November installation. Installation took place on 21st November 2022. The team were very professional. The electrician walked us through the job before it started to gain our approval. The weather was less than kind to the roof team but the carried on regardless and we’re very polite and respectful at all times. We have had contact with the company several times checking on how we were managing. We had an issue with our internet not being able to pick up data from the system. Something worth noting if considering having a solar installation. We are installing an additional router. Out of the four companies we spoke with, P4Solar were by far the best.

I can’t thank P4 Solar enough for their help and guidance throughout the whole process. Communication was excellent throughout and the price was so much better than any other companies I got quotes from. In addition the performance is excellent, even in the winter months! Overall a very happy customer and I would recommend P4 to anyone contemplating a solar and battery install.

We've used P4Solar, via a recommendation from a commercial installer, to have 14 panels and battery storage installed at our domestic property. Peter was very proactive from the start, when other companies weren't even bothering to get back to us. Communication throughout the process was very good. Installation was sound, courteous team of installers came and did the work in one afternoon. We required aftercare help after having a niggle in the set up, but this was dealt with in time. We are now seeing the benefits of the system, even as we head into winter.

We've had a full heat pump and central heating system installed by Peter's team and they did an outstanding job. We're awkward customers with lots of questions, and our project was definitely not a standard project, but he went above and beyond to design us a fantastic system which is perfect for our house. Other companies were saying we needed a 11kw system and they were very vague with the details. We paid for a survey with another company but there were too many red flags. Peter calculated correctly that we only needed an 8.5kw system and designed us the perfect layout for our radiators. His team are extremely neat and efficient. Our house is now toasty warm and our bills are extremely low too compared to our previous electric heating system. The aftercare is also fantastic to make sure everything was ok. Peter is always just a phone call/text/email away! We are going to have solar/battery fitted in the future with P4 and have no doubts at all that it won't be a perfect job.

We had an 18 panel solar and 9.6kW battery storage system installed by Peter Maddocks and his team at P4 Technologies in late August, and the system is up and performing well. This was not our first attempt at getting a solar system. However, previous potential providers proved to be poor at a number of important steps including establishing our actual needs, discussing different potential solutions and their associated costs, or providing any kind of believable cost/benefit statement – one provider even gave us a payback period of over 30 years and neither of will be around to see that! Peter is very knowledgeable and experienced in the solar and storage field, guiding us through all these steps, fielding the numerous questions, suggestions and concerns we raised along the way, and coming up with a design which met our needs, was affordable and could be installed within a few weeks. We were kept well informed and updated about the installation plan and associated equipment deliveries. When things did not go quite to plan (people do get sick sometimes), the plan was quickly adapted and the installation was then completed a couple of days later. The end result is a very neat, tidy and professional installation, put exactly where we wanted it to go, both on-roof and in our garage. We had a few follow-up questions about how best to use the system which Peter was very quick to clarify for us. All in all, a great result!

First, we recommend P4 Solar. When we expressed an interest Peter came to see us and explained what we needed. They completed our solar panel installation satisfactorily and at a difficult time. Solar panels, inverters and batteries were very much in demand following the VAT cut on equipment and the announcement of impending fuel price rises. The manufacturers and wholesalers were caught on the hop, and it wasn't easy to source what we needed. P4 Solar persevered, managed to find all the equpment and successfully installed it. Secondly – we also got quotes from Eon and Effective Homes. They wouldn't visit but instead took our details on the phone, not a very satisfactory way of doing business when a purchase of several thousand pounds was involved. And they didn't seem to know what they were doing. Messages weren't passed on and the staff were confused. One person insisted that we were on the top of a hill and subject to high winds, when we live near the bottom of the valley. It wasn't difficult to choose P4 Solar, and we haven't regretted it.

P4 have just completed the installation of our solar panel equipment and I have to say a big thank you to Peter and his team for the very professional manner in which the job was assessed, managed and installed. Great people to deal with, top class, tidy work and go the extra mile to help. I would highly recommend anyone to use them who wants to do something good for the environment and save lots of £££ at the same time. Great job !

Peter and the team have now installed both an air source heat pump and solar panels at our property. Both installs have been fantastic, from start to finish. Peter really knows his stuff, we felt in good hands throughout the entire process and Peter was always on hand to answer our Questions. The team at P4 did a great job with the install, very neat and tidy and the solar panels look great. We have a corrugated metal roof so I was a bit nervous about the panels but they look really modern and sleek.
