Absolute rip , ordered fish and chips on line and collected it myself . Cost in shop $31.98 , order through “Ozfoodhunter “ on line $37.71 for what . The owner of shop “ two wise fish “should not be pushing them to order on line through . Never use either again
I was able to order online. But the restaurant seemed to have the order wrong. Turns out they substituted my roast duck for fried duck, and forgot the rice. I gave them a 2-star rating on the OzFoodHunter website. Turns out the 2-star was changed to a 5-star. And from reading other reviews it appears this is a pattern of falsification of customer review ratings.
The drivers are hopeless. The food was ready soon after ordering, but the driver took an extra 30min to deliver it. It arrived almost cold. The restaurant didn't do anything wrong , the fault is all with the app and the driver. I'll never use them again.
Claims to be the official online order taker for restaurants. Fail to disclose a premium of 28-35% charged on each item of food ordered. Website states delivery in 25 minutes then they ring and say it will be 60 minutes. Had to pick up from restaurant myself. No delivery and no refund
Send insane amount of spam emails every day with no way to have them stopped. So hard to delete you account as well. (I'm sure they have sold my information a thousand times over at this point)
Scam - sends unsolicited emails - even after opting out.
I think A SCAM…..I booked a restaurant and when we arrived last night, there was no booking. I had to give card details w the booking and had to cancel the card later.
scam site. fraudulently represent restaurants via google but do not deliver and charge double or more for same orders available through restaurant directly or other reputable food order sites like deliveroo or uber eats. beware. do not order though this scam site. they will take your money, you'll have to pick your food up hours later and by then you'll have paid through the nose SCAM SCAM SCAM have reported to ACCC but not before having been ripped off by $100's
I placed an order and received a confirmation of 20 minutes for delivery. After 80 minutes, I rang the restaurant to be told that no drivers from OzFoodHunter had come in to pick it up. The owner took pity on me and delivered it to me himself some 1hr and 50 minutes after we placed the order. Needless to say, the food was stone cold, but we did appreciate the efforts of the restaurant to at least get it to us (Raevin's Takeaway Mixed Cuisine). I contacted OzFoodHunter and demanded a refund for the amount I paid for a service that had not been provided. They offered me a 15% discount voucher for a future order, which would not have even been as much as the delivery fee! I demanded they refund cash, as I had paid cash for a service that they did not provide. The next response was to offer me "Voucher Discount value: $21 off Validity date: 30/06/2022". I rejected this and re-stated that I wanted a cash refund, as I had paid them cash. I have just received a phone call where I have been offered $7.00 refund (the nett delivery fee after a discount code for early bird ordering) and a 20% off voucher (which, with the amount I order, would be a maximum of $8.00 to $9.00, and is much less than the previous offer of $21.00 discount). They didn't care that the "final" offer was less than the previous offer, and that I am simply not willing to trust them again (particularly after reading of similar experiences in other reviews on this site). All the above is verifiable through email exchanges with the company. Don't risk it, use any other delivery service.
Placed an order, it was accepted, received a text saying it was 20min away. Never showed up. Hour later rang the restaurant, food had been waiting, no driver, no show. Restaurant tried to contact them, I tried to contact them and still nothing. The poor restaurant operator had to drive the order out herself. Here's a little tip - if you are going to be a food delivery service you need 3 key components. 1. FOOD - you need to pick it up. 2. DELIVERY - you actually have to transport the food from restaurant to destination. 3. SERVICE - when you stuff it up, you need to be in contact. Given these 3 things are actually the total sum of what you do, I'd suggest finding a new business venture. This one clearly isn't "deliverable"
Ordered takeaway to collect and when came to pay asked me for facebook to log in. When I did a completely random persons profile appeared, so not comfortable with security and left site and went to restaurant anyway, only to find it was closed despite the site confirming the order and being ready to take my money....
Ordered a meal, was given a time and almost double that time later I rang the restaurant and they hadn’t even picked it up yet. Poor service
I ordered $140 of Indian food, from a trustworthy local restaurant I've ordered from many times - the app took money but sent no order and obviously no food. Terrible SCAM!!!! BEWARE!!!!!! Please be careful and don't trust this terrible site!
They have done a good job, trying their best and appreciate their effort.
This company will steal your money, and refuse to respond to calls/emails. Awful customer service and straight up criminals
I ordered and paid (apparently) via the app with Apple Pay (x2) for food and the restaurant never received the order. Ozfoodhunter did not disclose to me that it does not accept payment by Apple Pay. Indeed it has misrepresented that it does. Avoid this awful ‘service’ at all costs and order directly with the restaurant. 0
David is good guy to serve me he listen amd fix what problem I have and try to help my shop get more customer Thank you David Pj thai armidale Billy
This website is a complete scam. Restaurant had no record of our order- reporting to fair trading.
Restaurant had no knowledge of the order and confirmed that they do not use this site as a platform. It appears to have been fraudulently added to their Google Maps entry.
This is a SCAM. We ordered $65 worth of food and the restaurant had no knowledge of the order or this service. I sent a message to the ozfoodhunter through their website and no one responded.
