Trixy had a wonderful day and has had to phone aunties and cousins you tell them about her fabulous day!

This review is based on the Summerfields school location and our 5 year old daughter attending. Amazing facilities including swimming every day. Well organised and efficient operation at drop off and collection each day. My daughter came out happy and smiling every single time. We did a week at the Botley one as well. That was a solid 3 star. This one was a different league!

First time using the Active Adventure camp (Walhampton, Hampshire) for my two (9yo and 10yo) and they absolutely loved it. They only did 3 separate days but that didn’t detract from a wonderful experience each time. The youngest came out waving the card at me saying “give it 5 stars mummy!” On the penultimate day!! We were lucky enough to have Gregor, the Operations Director for the company running our sessions and he was excellent as were his colleagues. My children felt at home with them right away and always had lovely stories to tell about them when they got home. We tried an Ultimate Activity camp nearby which was also very well run but didn’t have quite the personal feel of this one. My children preferred the more survival/outdoor adventure style of this camp as well. Thanks for showing them a great time! Will definitely be returning if in need of summer camp again.

Pete the Active Adventure leader was extremely helpful and gave the impression that he was friendly and approachable, my son (Hugo) came back exhilarated and was raving about it all. Many thanks to Pete.

Massive thanks to Pete and Richard for active adventure at Sibford this summer holidays. Pete is a font of knowledge, so good at engaging and teaching the kids in a way that they find fun. He’s a real asset to this club and has way more experience in bush craft than the average holiday club facilitator. Richard is quirky and full of character and the kids really warmed to him. Kids have come home every day tired, happy, dirty and full of stories. Not one complaint about no phones. My eldest is going into year 8 this September and still loves going to the club whenever she has the chance. My only suggestion would be to review swimming timings as active adventure kids seemed to get shorter sessions when active camp kids run over time on their session. The advert for this club suggests water sports - this hasn’t been an activity on any of the sessions my children have attended but they’ve had so much else to entertain them it doesn’t matter. Highly recommend this holiday club, and I hope Pete and Richard enjoy a well deserved weekend off.

The team are absolutely great. They keep the kids active and engage them in different outdoor activities really well! My son is always excited to go!

My 11 year old daughter and 9 year old son spent 2 weeks in Walhampton school this summer and without doubt will say it was the best 2 weeks of her life. Great staff, great day excursions, great friends and great memories. From my perspective, admin support in the UK was always friendly and responsive. It felt secure and well arranged. The drop off and pick up was well arranged it, as it was our first time, I felt they would be in safe hands. From the first moment of arrival at camp, the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and made my children feel comfortable immediately. Many thanks to all team! Alba

Kids had a fantastic time at the Kingham Hill school camp with Rob, Luke and the team giving it their all. Really impressed by staff co-operation, flexibility and professionalism. Fun, educational and creative activities all day! Thanks to Active Oxford!

Our two sons Paul and Carl (11 and 12) had a wonderful time at Active Adventure at Summer Fields School Oxford. They really enjoyed the wide range of activities like canooing, whittling, fire making, archery, swimming and lots more. The instructors were very helpful, creative, fair and just lovely!

Good camp for my kids, they enjoyed the activities although they are repetitive from last camp.

My daughter had a fantastic day at Active Chefs. She loved making a variety of recipes to bring home and share and is begging us to book another one. Thank you!

This is the only holiday camp my kids want to do. The oldest is 14 so this is her last year but she wants to come back as a helper. My son loves the kayaking, swimming, whittling….. well all of it as it’s all outdoors. The best thing for me is I feel the kids are happy, safe and are shattered when they get home!!

Cancelled the booked due to low numbers Think it’s absolutely appalling that they just cancel due to low numbers of booking when working parents use this to organise around working hours. If you are a working parent then I would book elsewhere as you don’t have the stability with this company. My first time booking and what a shame.

My son had an amazing time at the camp at Walhampton school. So many fun activities and opportunities to learn through a wide range of outdoor activities. Great camp leads who care for the children too.

Walhampton (Hampshire) summer holiday camp. Absolutely brilliant. Fun outdoor activities e.g. kayaking, den building, fire lighting, whittling, archery, swimming, camouflage. Great instructors who build rapport with the children, make sure they have fun, (but safely), and communicate with parents. Have been sending my daughter for three years and she’s always desperate to return. Huge thanks to the the instructors Ayesha and Dan.

My son didn’t want to leave at the end of the day so he had a great time

Fab staff, our daughter loves both breakfast and after school club.

Both my childre, aged 4 and 6, love the range of activities, use of the great facilities in Holme Grange School and the relaxed atmosphere at Oxford Active camps. When the pool is open it’s also a great experience for them to play on the outdoor pool
