After receiving many quotes, I have decided to go with NCE. 10 x 500 Watt Panels Leapton panels, eCactus 5 kW inverter and eCactus Solar 5.12 kWh battery. I was a bit sceptic because I couldn't find many information regarding eCactus brand online, but was assured by Richard that the brand is reliable. The price was acceptable for my budget and I have decided to go forward with the 'unknown' brand. Within 2 months since I have the system, I can not complain, no issues at all, only thing as with many other battery brands is that if temperature is low, the battery is charging very slow. Otherwise all to my satisfaction. Roofers and electricians did an excellent job and all timeframes were kept as promised. I have to mention one more thing, there was an issue with the connection, but Richard, the owner, came the next day in person and fixed the issue. Hope the aftersales support will stay as it started.

I had a PV System + hybrid inverter installed by NCE before Christmas '24. I'd say I had burned the ears off Richie with questions about the system etc before I moved ahead with it, but he always made time to discuss and answer my questions. The roofing guys were excellent when they landed as were the electricians when they commissioned the system. I couldn't say enough about NCE - would happily recommend to anyone!

The electricians and roofers arrived as scheduled and works were exceptional. After much research and talking with various suppliers, we decided to go with Richard and his team and NCE. From the get go, the quality of their solar PV proposal, communication and information was miles ahead of the rest. Topped with the rapid installation and lead time only 5 days and a very competitive price on the system we purchased I could not fault the teams. Quote received was net of the SEAI grant, which provided us with confidence of quality work. Installation was fully completed 15 days after payment of the deposit. We Recently installed 13 PV panels on our home with the help of North Cork Electrical The whole process was stress free from start to finish dealing with Richard the owner Michael doing the survey the carpenters and electrical installation staff they were a pleasure to deal with and had great skills and knowledge and looked fantastic and very tidy when it was finished also Claire in the office for her help and knowledge for coming back to me regarding questions just to note when it was activated at around 3.30pm the sun was shining and charged the battery to 37 percent and supplied the house till 21.30pm till the grid cut in then finally they look after the whole process once you are granted the grant and 6 weeks approximately the 2100euros is paid into your bank account I would highly recommend this company and have no issues doing so

I found the initial meeting with NCE very easy to understand and it enabled me to make a quick decision to go ahead. The process was very simple and the staff involved were both courteous and professional. The installation was carried out on time and both the roof element and the electrical parts were done by excellent craftsmen.
