This is our third birthday cake from Helen. I cannot recommend her enough. The cake was fantastic! Gorgeously decorated and tasted amazing. Our cake was made without wheat. It always a pleasure to deal with Helen. She’s helpful on sizing and decorations. The whole family looks forward to the cake! Thank you Helen :)
Helen’s cake don’t only taste amazing but they look amazing. You can absolutely tell she puts her heart and soul into each creation. Her communication is excellent and I will no longer go anywhere else for custom cakes!
Contacted Helen after being recommended by a friend. From start to finish Helen has been amazing. It was short notice with Christmas in between, but Helen fitted in making my daughter’s 30th birthday cake. Sent Helen a photo of the design we wanted and the end result was amazing, looked even better than the photo and the taste was wonderful. Everyone at the party commented on how beautiful it was. Throughout the making Helen kept me updated, sent quote with everything itemised and costing. Lovely lady to deal with, would highly recommend Helen for all your cake requirements. My husband and I were eloping and having a party following the ceremony. Quite close to the time I decided I wanted a cake and Nelly’s Sweet Treats was recommended. I couldn’t recommend her enough! Fast response time, quick turn around, and most importantly the cake and cupcakes were delicious. They were decorated just as I asked, and the packaging was very pretty and professional. I was able to order everything gluten free as I and some of my guest suffer with coeliac disease, they were a hit and everything was eaten by the end of the night! Would 100% recommend!

Nelly's Sweet Treats made our wedding cake and the cake was better than I could have imagined. I first met Helen at a wedding fayre and tasted her delicious samples. Helen was so helpful and the process of booking and 'designing' our wedding cake was made very simple. Helen always responded promptly to my messages and no question was too much! Helen helped with deciding how I wanted the cake to look and sent photos of examples that she could do. Helen provided artificial flowers on the cake and paid attention to detail to try and match these to the flowers in my bouquet where possible. Helen liaised with our venue to arrange to deliver the cake and set up, meaning the morning was as stress free for me as possible! The cake was absolutely stunning and exactly what I had dreamed of. All of our guests commented on how amazing the cake looked, and it tasted even better! Thank you Nelly's Sweet Treats!
What can I say that hasn’t been said before about Nelly’s sweet treats, from the first day I spoke with Helen to order a wedding cake as a gift for my nephew and his bride she has gone above and beyond to make their dream cake and what a cake it was the pictures doesn’t do it justice, it was absolutely beautiful and tasted even better, this is the second cake I have ordered from Helen and all I can say is Wow, nothing is too much trouble she is only a phone call or text away, I have ordered another wedding cake for my daughters wedding next august,i highly recommend Nelly’s sweet treats
The best!!! Such a lovely woman. Cake was absolutely beautiful. Very elegant and well designed to every point!!! And the taste was phenomenal, everyone finished the whole cake so quickly and enjoyed the cake, very soft cake and the fillings between layers out of this world!!!! Only one cake maker I would use and that is Nellys Sweet Treats, Helen has just made the most fabulous 18th birthday cake for our granddaughter Layla, I had a few issues with the date of collection for the cake, but Helen was very flexible and worked with me. When the cake was presented at the party everyone commented on how amazing the cake was, it also tasted fab.
The cake was delicious and contained a lot of personal touches for the recipient which made it extra special. For the size and quality of the cake, it was also reasonably priced. I will definitely use Nelly’s Sweet Treats again.

I ordered a McLaren themed cake for my son’s 21st birthday, and the cake looked fantastic, exactly as I’d imagined. My son loved the design and the cake tasted amazing! We’ve had 2 cakes from Nelly’s Sweet Treats, both excellent. They taste as good as they look. Highly recommended. Butter cream is delicious, sponge is light, decoration is fantastic.
