I bought a Hale Bob dress from MissesDressy and was pleasantly surprised to find that they were offering 'free' shipping to Australia. I was even more delighted when my dress arrived all the way from NY to Australia in 4 days. I was expecting to have to wait up to two weeks for my dress so they certainly exceeded my expectations. I'm looking forward to shopping @ Missesdressy.com again.
I purchased a dress six weeks ago. It was nice, but not what I ended up going for. I carefully read the return policy before making the purchase, but when I returned it according to their requirements, I received store credit instead of a refund. I called three times, and have emailed at least four times, and have been told my return is "processing" each time. I have no idea when (or if) I will actually get my money back, and it has been so long I have already had to pay off my credit card. I wish I had read the other reviews about returns before making my purchase.

i needed a dress in time for my bday party and the one i wanted would not make it to me in time. I was disappointed and wanted to cancel so i called and the girl agreed the dress would be late but offered some other styles that were available. By the end of it I found a dress that i love even more that the one i wanted in the first place. It just got here today and it fits perfectly. I cant wait to wear it on Saturday!!!!
My wedding dress just arrived 12 days after order. It is well-tailored, perfectly fitted with all of my body measurements. I didn't expect to get a tailored dress within 2 weeks. It is a super fast delivery. My wedding dress is perfect, sparkling all the way down and I'm really satisfied with the service. Definitely recommend this site. :)

about 16 months a go, i purchased multiple dresses as gifts for my family 3 months prior to my travel date, some came and were good, as you may know the cost is good for the product, the worst issue is there unreliable shipping, it can say whatever available immediately, 5-7 business day, 12-16 weeks, it doesn't matter the designers they deal with unreliable and they do not update there website accordingly regarding the dates, i received the dresses then 3 days after i already traveled imagine my embarrassment. now i have my wedding its coming up december 2013 i purchased again some dresses ( some would say why?!!! i know my mother liked some dresses from the website ) i bought them as gift but this time i tried to make sure through website/ talking to customer service ,, etc to buy something available for sure,out of 4 i received 3. and now i have been in contact multiple times with customer service about the third one that i was supposed to get couple of weeks ago and the only thing they can say is that they have been trying to contact the designer but no reply???? i do not understand,,, REMEMBER NO REFUND just store credit, i have been trying to get an idea about my dress to make sure i have enough time to find and buy another in case this didnt work but they dont even give the courtesy of a call back or email ( this is the 3rd day im contacting customer service and asking for an update on my item and im left stranding the only live chat person some times leaves me with no response and closed chat) i asked for the issue to go to a supervisor and imagine what i got ...... silence !! . each time i have to explain the situation over and over to every person, so frustrating and annoying.
I was happy to see an email from missesdressy begging me to go rate and review their company, so that I can warn others. My daughter fell in love with a dress and knew it was 'the one' for her prom. I looked on several authorized Sherri Hill sites and decided on missesdressy.com after reading all of the return policies, as the only thing we were not 100% sure on was sizing. My daughter has 2 Sherri Hill dresses. One is a 4 and one is a 6, and they fit the exact same. Even the measurements are the same. She also owns a Tony Bowls size 8 that fits the same as a Sherri 6, and a Jovani size 8 that fits like the Sherri 6. I wanted reassurance that if we ordered a 6 and it was too big or small, we could exchange for the right size. After carefully reading the return policies I paid $650 for the dress on Oct 7th. It said it would ship on or around Oct 31st. Fast forward to me be very impressed with this company. The dress shipped on the 31st and it arrived Nov 2nd. We were not expecting it so fast, so were pretty excited. Dress is GORGEOUS and Authentic. No problems with the dress at all - except - it was too small. Only by about an inch in the back - we can't do it up. Ok no worries, we will ship it back and get the 8. I tried to phone for a return number. Their phone line rings and then hangs up. Phone number does not work. Ok - live help - perfect. I get "We are sorry this is a special order and can't be returned or exchanged". Huh? This dress was shipped within 3 weeks, I didn't ask for a special color or size it didn't come in - it was a simple DRESS ORDER. Nothing 'special' about it. They say they will send an email to higher up. I get an email the next day that basically said 'Sorry you are SOL' enjoy the dress. I wrote back right away. Have not heard back. Not even an explanation or an 'Im sorry'. IN FACT - we went by the measurements on THEIR website and the 6 should have fit, maybe even been big - but misses dressy will not stand behind their false measurement charts!!! When you go to the very fine print in the returns it says special orders can't be exchanged/refunded -but what about this was a special order? No where when I bought it did it say 'Hey dummy this is a special order and if you screw up too bad so sad!' - no - in fact - BESIDE EVERY ORDER there is this GIANT 100% REFUNDS sign on the page - I put a few different dresses in my cart - those that were 'in stock' and that sign was there. Then took those out and put in one they consider special order - and the sign was there. IT IS VERY DECEIVING AND WRONG!!!!!!!!!!! At least other sites on the internet selling dresses are more up front. I don't even want my money back - I want an exchange - from the looks of this dress being sold out in many places, its a pretty popular and best selling type dress- they would have NO problem re-selling it in 5 minutes! So now we have a dress that doesn't fit and cost me $650. So we have 3 options- I put spanx on my already slender 17 yr old daughter to make the dress fit and make her self esteem go down the toilet, sell the dress hopefully for what we paid on ebay or facebook, or send my daughter to 5 hours of hot yoga a week hoping she can drop and inch she really doesn't need to lose! Thanks missesdressy for begging me to do reviews for you - its not a problem at all! PEOPLE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE AND DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I actually STRONGLY urge people to go to a dress shop, get measured, order the dress IN PERSON. If the dress shop screws up and the dress doesn't fit you - its on them, not you!!!!

Please do not ignore my review and order from Missy Dresses, that is what I did and I have been left extremely unsatisfied and disgusted with their customer service and will NEVER order from them again or recommend them to anybody. Missy Dresses refund policy is basically non existant and a joke. Read their return policy carefully because at first glance it appears that you will get a refund if your order is wrong but you won't, the language used is misleading and deceiving. Missy will make it as hard as possible for you to get your money back if your order is wrong (even if it is their fault that it is wrong).They have tried everything they can to not give me a refund even though the dress they provided me is not as per my order and is too small. Missy are unpleasant, rude and unprofessional to deal with.Firstly I didn't even get a confirmation email that my order had been received or when I could expect it. I only knew Missy received my order when I saw that the money had been taken out of my account. The dress then arrived and it did not fit. I initiated the return process as specified on the website within the required timescale of 7 days and provided photos of the dress on which clearly showed it did not fit. At first Missy tried to avoid giving me a refund by saying that I did not initiate the return process within the required timescale, they obviously don't have staff who know how to count. I pointed out that it was within the timescale and when they realized I was right they tried another excuse/ means of avoiding refunding me by advising that I take the dress to a local tailor to alter- how is this possible when the dress is too small???? A local tailor cannot make the dress bigger without ruining it. Missy then suggested that I buy ANOTHER dress and I would get it at a discounted rate (only a mere 30%) are they joking!? Why would I order & get charged for another dress from these people?!? On top of this a few weeks later I even received an invoice from TNT asking for payment for the custom duty. So on top of paying almost £100 for a dress (and postage) I have another bill of £25 to pay. Missy's return policy is bullshit and their customer service is bullshit. Missy are an absolute nightmare to deal with. I only received a small refund after arguing with Missy for a long month and a half. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH- DO NOT ORDER FROM MISSY!!!!!!!
Misses dressy, Regarding your earlier post about your RETURN EXCHANGE POLICY how on earth do you as a company expect someone to try on a wedding dress within the 7 days of ordering when it took you over 7 days to ship the dress to Boston...................................? Certainly you should look in to this as your so passionate about your companies customer service, anyone who is abroad or in the US is taking a risk buying anything off your company as your shipment of my wedding dress never arrived in the seven days. I have just gotten off the phone from this store and I am so upset. They sent my sister-in-law the wrong size wedding dress (it says size six but measures size 0) and they absolutely refuse to help us out and exchange it for a bigger size. Their customer service is awful. Their supervisor claims to not know who his boss is. They took my sister-in-law's money and now will do nothing to help her. I hope that no one out there is considering buying from these people. All they care about is making money, not making their customers happy.

No one buy a dress from this website, you do not get what you have paid for! the dress i ordered came, and it looks nothing like in the picture on the site. They take images from other websites and make fake copies of the dress with poor quality materials.My dress looks like a sleeping bag! Do not be fooled by the cheap prices of the dresses like i was because now i have to buy a new dress and pay double the money, and i cant do anything about it, Do not trust china based dresses!

Their customer service is exceptional, staff knowledgeable and the dresses are always as beautiful as I expected them!!!! You are put on hold for hours...you give up and try another day. To learn you are now outside of the "7 day return policy". They make no effort to help you. Horrible experience, trust me never never buy from them!
Firstly, I would just like to say that I wouldn't hesitate to order through missesdressy.com! Before I bought through them I promised that if I was happy with their service I would write a review :) So here I am! I rarely buy things online but I couldn't resist after finding out that my dream wedding dress was available through these guys for considerably less, 100's of dollars less, than I would have paid through a retail store in Australia AND their shipping time was a whole heap shorter (the local retailer quoted 5 months for the dress to be made by Allure and shipped). Obviously this is because these guys have the dresses in stock and it is not specifically 'made to order'. The dress is the same quality as the one at the retailers that I had first seen. I read through a million reviews online before committing myself and I knew I had ages (9 months) before I actually needed the dress, so if it wasn't right I could return it - and if it didn't arrive I would have time to sort it out and get one well before my wedding day. And - keep in mind, people are more likely to write a review if they're unhappy about something rather than if they're happy and everything went smoothly. The only negative reviews I found were in relation to delivery time... But, who leaves it to one or two weeks before their wedding to buy a dress?!? Of course you'd stress out if there was even the most minor hiccup. My dress was shipped within four days of purchasing and it arrived in amazing speed (I ordered Monday night and it arrived the following Wednesday) and the hold up with the courier (DHL) was something between my city and one an hour away! However, I will mention, the dress I had selected appeared to be in stock and would 'usually be shipped on the same business day' - it wasn't, but it still arrived within their 'estimated delivery time' of 5 - 10 business days. The staff on the live chat are super helpful if you need them, you can ask them anything. It's great that they're on there 24/7 esp. with the time difference between Australia and the States. All in all I would say 10/10 and I have already recommended misses dressy.com to my friends who are getting married. Yay!! Missesdressy.com
Just got it today! And I just can't explain how happy I am, WOHOOO!! Just what I expected it to be, the dress is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS..Can't wait to wear it. I will be sure to recommend this site to all of my friends, their eyes will be popping out when they see me wearing this dress LOL :) And oh, btw, very nice site, and your customer service is awesoooomeee, they helped me all the way in placing the order, really friendly people.
